One of my mental strengths is persevering hard things and pushing myself to do my best through things that are hard for me. A physical strength is my ability to pace myself and not stop moving. If I was forced to stop using my strengths I would not be able to accomplish anything that was easy and I would be very frustrated with myself and the people around me.
I agree that you perseverance through hard things even when you don't think you can do it. You are determined
Another mental strength you have is your ability to shut off mistakes and being able to encourage others past theirs. During volleyball I've noticed that you are defiantly one of the most mentally strongest people on the court.
Just keep swimming! :)
pacing yourself is very important with a lot of things, physical and mental.
One of my big mental strengths is my determination. I hate losing and so by being mentally determined I always push myself and others around me to want to win. My physical strength is my endurance. Even when my brain is telling me I can't push myself anymore my legs just keep moving faster. If I didn't have my mental strengths anymore, I would feel less motivated to do athletics because without the will to win and, without the will to push myself I would question why I am doing athletics.
I totally agree that you are super mentally determined and you always want to win and push yourself to do your best to win!
Sydney your determination is admirable!!! :)))) The feeling of feeling proud of your self and your hard work is truly AWSOME.
You are extremely strong both mentally and physically. You're physical strength, your endurance, is one of the things I admire most about you. I love how you are always pushing yourself for the better.
Endurance is a nice physical strenght to have. I agree that you both have those strenghts of physical and mental.
My physical strength strength comes with my ability (which I'm pretty proud of) Is to keep going. Skiing is so incredibly sick.
My mental strength is my mental endurance.
If I were forced to stop using my strengths Id probably feel worthless, without purpose and probably get lonely. LIKE THE STUFF IM GOOD AT IS WHAT I LOVE!
I totally agree! I would be super lonely and I would definitely feel worthless if I couldn't use my strengths.
You should be proud of your ability to keep going! You always strive for your goals! Keep it up!
You should be proud of that!
My mental strength is that I want to get something done I get it done, I have been told since I was little that I have always been very determined. My physical strength is being able to dance on point shoes. I have conditioned my feet to grow stronger so it can support my body weight.
If I were to lose my strengths I would feel very useless. I would never be able to complete anything and would always be unmotivated. I would also feel horrible because many hours of point classes would have been thrown away like nothing. I would never be able to get that time back.
Lucy you are a very determinded person! Keep it up!
It is important that you keep your strengths and push through anything. even if its not what you want.
I like the way you are thinking, being determined is a good thing.
Being determined is a really good skill to have!
I do not have many physical strengths, but some include biking, skiing and bucking hay. However, when it comes to mental strength, I have discovered that I can visualize things in 3 dimensions like a clear picture in my mind. If I were forced to not use my strengths, I would probably get depressed but I would probably find other activities and get better at them.
I like how you said that you would find some other activities to do. This shows that one of your mental strengths is being positive.
I feel like losing a sense of visualization like that would be extra hard because it could change the way you think and perceive things around you. It could change your complete mindset.
My physical strength is I can use both of my feet in soccer, instead of just kicking with just one. My mental strength is that I can ignore anything no matter how loud it is. If I couldn't use my strenghts then I would be sad because then I couldn't focus when I need to or be able to kick a ball with a certain foot very well.
Ignoring the world is a good skill especially to excel in school.
If I had an ability like that and it was stripped away from me I feel like I would be imbalanced.
Some of my mental strengths are being productive, open-minded, determination, confidence, and independence. Some of my physical strengths I am good at push ups, hand stand push ups, I can touch my head with my feet, run, and touch the ground with my palm and my knees straight. If I didn't have some of my physical strengths I would struggle a lot because I use them for sports and sports are so important to me.
I'm physically strong at being able to sign ASL fast. My mental strength is being self aware, intelligence, and creativity. If I couldn't use my physical and mental strengths I would struggle a lot. These characteristics help make me. If I couldn't use my strengths I couldn't grow and help others. I would feel awful if I couldn't use my strengths.
I think it's really cool that you can sign ASL really fast. That takes a lot of brain and physical power.
My physical strength is being able to work with animals even though they are stronger and smarter than me. My mental strength is overcoming my fear even if I am apprehensive. If I am unable to use these strengths I will feel restricted and unhappy. I would be unable to do the things I love and would fall into a deep hole that would be very diffulcult to get out of.
It's very impressive to work with animals, it takes a lot of patience and practice to work with an animal.
Some of my mental strengths include leadership, bravery, curiosity, creativity, optimism, honesty, and kindness. A few of my physical strengths are endurance, stamina, strength, agility, coordination, and accuracy. I would feel upset and frustrated because without my mental and physical strengths I feel that I would be unsuccessful in a lot of the things I try to accomplish.
Yes, I agree you are a very brave, honest, and kind person!
One of my biggest mental strengths is being able to learn fast, when somebody shows me how to do something once, I will remember and learn from it. One of my biggest physical strengths is my stamina, when I was younger I loved running then I had a problem with my tonsils swelling in my throat, making it hard to breath. After I got them removed I've loved running a lot more and I've found I have a lot of stamina and I don't give up. If I didn't have any of these strenghts I would be lonely and unhappy. Some of my favorite things are doing things outside, I love to learn and be active.
I agree, you are an amazing runner.
One of my mental strengths would have to be the ability to never give up. When faced with a struggle I refuse to back down. I perceive the challenge as a way to strengthen myself rather than a task that is grueling and not possible.
One of my physical traits would have to be my vertical jump. This ability helps me when I do volleyball and track. In track this ability helps me with hurdles and the long jump. Others might find this more challenging than I do because they don't have the same ability to help uplift them.
If I was forced to stop using the abilities I would feel defeated. These tasks are what make me who I am. They're what I'm good at and if they were taken away I would feel useless because I wouldn't have something that makes me happy.
You hardly do ever give up!
