Dustin Pace: A Brief Synopsis
Born and raised in Alberta, Canada, I am an export from the "Great White North."   After receiving my high school diploma from Cochrane High School (home to the Cobras) in the land of toques and poutine, I migrated south of the 49th parallel where I met my future wife, Amber, and began my collegiate career.  I completed a Bachelor of Arts in English with a 4.0 GPA at the University of Montana in 2009 and was admitted to a graduate program in literature at the U of M that same fall.  After completing the behemoth task that is the Master's thesis, I received a Master of Arts in English in 2011.  My slow migration south then continued and brought me further down Highway 93 to Salmon.  Attracted by the natural splendor and abundance of national wilderness areas, we relocated to this Mecca for outdoor activities upon being offered a teaching position at Salmon High School for the 2011-2012 school year, and I have been instructing here ever since.  I currently teach Dual Credit English Literature, English IV, and English II, in addition to directing the Drama Department and serving as the resident Technology Coordinator.  Apart from teaching, I enjoy playing guitar, acting, rafting, hiking, mountain biking, and travelling the continent in our orange Volkswagen Vanagon, Buster, with Amber and our three children - Tobias, Briella, and Keaton - who share in our adventures (when they are not the cause of them).
