Do you believe in ghosts or the supernatural? Why or why not? Why do you think they remain so prevalent in our stories and folklore?

Yes, demons, ghosts, and monsters are very real according to Sam and Dead Winchester. I watch them every single day fight for their lives killing those ungodly things. Dean and Sam tend to get there arses beat but they still end up overpowering them.

I sorta believe in them. Mainly skin walkers, they are for sure real. They are very scary and keep me and my buddies in constant fear when we are in the woods. I believe they are so common in stories becasue it adds a sense of fear the audience can sense as well.

I personally am a strong believer in ghosts. I’ve had moments where I know I’m not alone even though it appears I am alone. I think ghosts are constantly put in films because it adds a level of suspense to the story keeping the views on their toes.

I don't believe in ghosts. If ghosts were real I feel like they would make more of an apperance in different situations rather then just assuming they are always in scary situations. I think they are in a lot of stories to keep you reading and interested in the story.

I do not believe in ghosts, because there is no real proof. I think they are important in the stories because in older times their beliefs on things like this comes from stories that are told over time.

Yes I believe that they are real. I also believe in skinwalkers. Those things are creepy. Ghosts, spirits, I do believe are still around and continue to do whatever they do. I think they've been around a long time that's probably why we still continue to write about them.

I do not believe in ghosts as hollywood depicts them, but I do believe in the idea that people have spirits. I don't think they haunt you though. I think that they are so prevalent in stories because they are easy characters to teach lessons. The idea of ghosts also gives an idea that if you had unfinished business that would get you an opportunity to ¨ make it right ¨.

I believe that there are some sort of spirits or ghosts out there. There are many instances that are unexplained and some other source has to be responsible for those instances. The ghosts add depth to the stories and add an opposing force in stories.

I believe that there are things that exist in our world beyond human comprehension. There is no true way for us to understand everything out there. I see the heavy prevalence of ghosts and supernatural themes in our stories and media as an attempt for us humans to understand and grasp the things in which we are ignorant to.

I think that ghosts are common in stories because people look for a way to explain things that aren't explainable. People find comfort in a reason. I thinks that ghosts can be something different for every one, like memories or people from the past.

I believe that there's something other than just us on this planet, it's too big to not have something other than animals and humans. I think they're prevalent because when something we can't explain happens it's easier to blame something not really there, when there could have been a reasonable explanation. But the reason I believe in something is because of how many stories there are, not every single one is going to have an explanation

i do belaive in ghost because everytime hubert leaves my house he says he turns off the lights outside but every morning the lights are on.

I do not believe in ghosts because all the stories people chase after all have a reasonable explanation to them. In places where people think ghosts originate only seem that way because of the environmental factors like dark night, no exterior lights, etc. When your brain does not have all the information to make a real, reasonable conclusion your brain will just fill in the rest of the information to what ever is reasonable that is why people think they see ghosts. The reason it is still preveleant is because it is a great story concept for movies that is interesting.

I don´t believe in ghost because with all the years humans have been around we would have more evidence of them. They are a good way to express something that in not understood in story.

I don't believe in ghosts but there are a lot of things with no explanation. I think that they are prevalent in stories because they can be used to show or tech people lessons in the stores. Another reason they could be so prevalent in stores is because of the the unfished business it catches peoples attention.

Yes I believe in ghosts, because Ouija boards exist. I think they remain in a lot of stories because a lot of people believe in them and they make a lot of stories interesting and intriguing.

To some extent I believe they are real. There are experiences that are seemingly impossible to explain otherwise, and encounters with animals that are definitely unnatural. However, sometimes it can just be twisted stories, or coincidences due to weather and other components.

No. Where's the smoking gun evidence? The actual, physical proof? No anecdotes, no "just trust me bro", but something scientifically valuable. I don't believe in a higher power, so anything supernatural is off the table to me. It's a great concept, maybe one of the greatest concepts in all legend. Perhaps someone "heard" a familiar voice, one that sounds similar to a passed relative and from there on their tribe began to perform rituals to contact them. With this mindset, one might think: "How many of them could be out there? How many of them are bad? Or good?"

I believe in ghosts, there are definitely a couple around our house. People can use them to explain the un-explainable.
