Daily Literary Quote
“In the Middle Ages, cathendrals and convents burned like tinder; imagining a medieval story without a fire is like imagining a World War II movie in the Pacific without a fighter plane shot down in flames.”

Journal Prompt
What comes to mind when you think about the Middle Ages?  What are some stories or movies that are set during or have characters from the Medieval Era?

Dragons are by far the first that come to mind. Then I think of castles and dungeons only lit by torches hung from the walls. Along with walls decorated in armor statures and heroic weapons.

When I think of the Middle Ages, the first thing that always comes to mind is the stories I read and the tyranny of corrupt kings. A popular story that takes place in the Middle Ages is The Sword and The Stone.

I think of knights, castles, horses, torture, and the black plague. A knights tale is from the middle ages. Robin Hood is another one. Army of Darkness also goes back to the Middle Ages.

When I think of the Middle ages the first thing that comes to mind is castles, dungeons, and ball gowns. A movie I think of set in the medieval era is Ophelia.
