Daily Literary Quote
“In the Middle Ages, cathendrals and convents burned like tinder; imagining a medieval story without a fire is like imagining a World War II movie in the Pacific without a fighter plane shot down in flames.”

Journal Prompt
What comes to mind when you think about the Middle Ages?  What are some stories or movies that are set during or have characters from the Medieval Era?

Middle Ages are battle motivated times with castles, knights and armies that rule over different sectors. The movie The Holy Grail has many medievil concepts and aspects.

When I picture the middle ages I think of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. This movie really shows the good/bad, the funny/sad. There's even a lot of fighting and demon rabbits that really show how hard it is to live during this era.

When I think of medieval times I think of fights on the back of houses, heavy metal armor, and kissing the kings ring for blessings.

When I think of medieval, I think of knights and swords. They wear armor, and royalty and guards are the only form of government. All the farming is done by either peasants, slaves, or both. A movie that is set close to these times is Gladiator.

When I think of the middle ages I think of Robin Hood. This is where there is usually a king as a ruler and seems to be hated or loved and never an in between. There is always lots of violence and fighting.

When the middle ages come to my mind I think of the Game Of Thrones. I also In vision vikings and a lot of war where people are slinging arrows off of castles at the opposing enemies. As well as a lot of partying where severe amounts of alcohol are consumed.

When I think of the middle age times it reminds me of nights and kingdoms. Bravery played a big role in this to become the king someone would have to prove themselves to be good enough.

When I think of the middle ages I think of the Games of Thrones and Shrek. I think this because it reminds me of the mystical creatures they all once believed in and also the way the peasants were dressed and how they talked
