A fairy tale is a short story set in a magical realm, with human characters as well as otherworldly beings, like witches and wizards. The heroes of these stories often face improbable scenarios against evil villains. They are relevant today because they give hope and feed the imagination.

I think a fairy tale is a fairy tale because it uses caricatures and fantasy creatures to tell a moral story. I think they are less relevant today than they once were but are still somewhat important as we all know them still.

Fairytales are filled with magic and contain a lot of imagination and can also contain things that happen in the stories that could never happen in real life. I think fairytales exist in today's world, it just all depends on how you look at people's life and stories.
