Technology has played a both positive and negative role in society, from their respective viewpoints. Without technology, we wouldn't have put a man on the moon. Without technology, we wouldn't have made connections across the world. People often think of technology as computers and phones, but technology is as simple as the invention of the wheel. However, technology has also dumbed down humanity. Nowadays, we can plug any question we have about anything into our phones, and have the answer in an instant. In that sense, we have no need to learn how to do anything by hand. We have every answer we would ever need in a super computer in our pockets.

Technology has placed a positive role in society because we have found a way to connect with others with a click of a few buttons. We have to opportunity to talk to relatives from anywhere, we don't have to make a trip to communicate. Technology is a great blessing and a curse in our society but, we shouldn't always focus on the negatives when the positives are right in front of your face.

Technology is nor good or bad but how it's used determines it's outcome. Technology can be used for great research and understanding of thugs we have never even begun to understand. Technology has also been used to bash people online. "Influencers" have been used to transform a person to "fit in" even though it will never happen and so many peopke are affected by it.

In my opinion technology has played both positive and negative roles in our society but mostly negative. Technology has caused more bullying, hate, etc. Technology also doesn't always have a positive influence on everybody because we don't always know how our post can affect others around us. But, there are positives of technology for health reasons, elctrical/power, schools, etc. So not all technology is bad but, it depends on how we are using the power we control with the technology/ media we have.

Technology has two sides. It can be positive and negative. I see social media as a negative along with AI and robots. The positve that technology can teach you anything. It helps with medical, trasport, selling, and buying things. There's two sides and I think our society would be better with a little less technology.

Technology has placed a positive role in society in some ways. Yes we can communicate a lot faster and better with the technology now. We can travel to other planets and back. We can also improve medicines and cure diseases a lot easier than back then. Those are all positives, while they all also come with negatives. Like a child could become obsessed with technology (ex. Kindle, phone, video games), and forget all about reality and that gains a lot more downsides. People just need to use technology right, and also get the right amount of sunshine too, like going outdoors either more or the same amount as playing with technology. People could also create a disease that could wipe out most of society claiming to "start over again" while they have cures and bunker to get away from such. Each technology idea has positives and negatives, you just have to find the right way for each idea.

Technology is both good and bad for society. It has taught us so much and made everything 10x easier to do, you can access everything by just your phone. You can type a whole essay way faster then you can write it by hand and also do jobs from far away learning more. But this also plays a bad part by making people addicted to their phones, or other electronics always on them becoming lazier and lazier everyday.

Technology has become a positive in society because it helps us do hard tasks in a simple manner. Like harvesting crops today is so much easier than if we were to be in the past picking them by hand one by one. It helps give us more resources to flourish and expand our society. The negative though is that we take that technology for advantage and let it corrupt us. We have become lazy and ignorant, using technology for wars and weapons rather than ways to improve society. We're using technology as a weapon not a tool.

Technology has advaced our society a lot. Technology has made big tasks easier, helps humans live better and just makes everything so muvh easier. Technology has also made people lazy, and puts people out of their jobs. Our Earth wouldn't be this advanced without technology so it's good in a sense. Everything has a positive and a negative side to it.

Technology has played both a positive and a negative role in our society because it has saved lives, time, and given us a way to create new relationships and keep up on relationships we wouldn't be able to without technology. However, the negative impact is that technology is a great way for us to waste our time doing something mindless and unproductive.

I think technology for a while was for the most part positive. It enhanced so much of our lives and gave us the ability to learn and solve. But now I think it trends negatively. We just use technology for entertainment and often forget the small things.

In my opinion technology has many positive things like healthcare and advancement, but it definitely has its negatives. For example, it has caused society to be more lazy. Technology has also helped advancement so many things like sports, learning, creating, etc.

I think technology has helped our society both positively and negatively. Technology has helped further improve our healthcare systems, educational systems, communication, and weapons. Technology is also a platform to destroy and hurt people. Although it helps our weapons and machinery it is also destroying other countries. Technology also destroys relationships. It is a way to anonymously or nonanonymously hurt or degrade others.

I hold an equal position for this statement. I believe that technology is taking us forward exponentially in research, science, and engineering. In another way, it is taking us backward by introducing electronic devices with video games, social media, and other means of entertainment, which dumb people down more.
