America is headed in possibly the worst direction possible. In modern America, we have the highest amount of gun violence in the world. In Florida, they passed a law this year that allows a person to carry a concealed weapon without a permit. We have children in the American school system who have to practice "Shooter Drills" because of how many school shootings have happened in the past few years.

America is at its worst possible place in all the years of the US being a country. America is struggling to keep under control climate change, the government, abuse, school violence, etc. If we can't even keep our government in peace how can people in communities control school violence when our government can't even keep themselves under control.

I disagree, because ever since the Clinton administration, our government has severely gone downhill being at an all-time high 32TRILLION dollars in debt. There is also too much drama in the government, and no matter what your political standpoint is, both sides are corrupt, and the need for better congressmen is imminent. I also know that social media and electronic devises are making a huge negative impact when it comes to people's attention span and ability to reason and think.

I think America in general is heading in a negative direction as of current, but its still hard for me to say that were doing everything wrong. Even though America has a TON of problems, think about other countries. I mean most countries that come to mind have way more suffering and hardship than we do. It might be war, cartels, lack of support in the way of food and water. The world is still not a good place.
Okay America has some vey bad problems but just for second think of what we do pretty well. Im not saying that we're heading a positive direction but I'm also saying that is naive to think that we're just heading in a bad direction. These things change constantly. But to answer the question, right now America is heading in a negative direction.

America is not headed in a positive direction. In fact we are headed so down hill that the future seems pretty uncertain. People can get permits to have weapons fully loaded and ready to go at any moment. Police and body guards have multiple weapons they can use when needed to protect the public. Suicides are one of the leading causes of death for teens. Car related accidents are also a huge part of teen deaths. The healthcare system is so far gone that workers are going on strikes.

America is not headed in the right direction, in my opinion. Part of why I think we are not is because it is illegal in many states to get an abortion. Although it is understandable why abortion isn't great and shouldn't be super easy to get one, having an unwanted child can greatly damage someone's life, not to mention the child's life. Getting an abortion for some people can save the mother's life, and also think about what happens if a child or teenager is raped and gets pregnant and then can't get an abortion. Especially in the case of smaller kids who have hit puberty early, the child and their body wouldn't be able to support having a child. In some states, it is possible to get more jail time for giving an abortion than for raping somebody. That needs to change. Another thing that needs to change is that current America does not support some of the most important people in their societies, which is the farmers and ranchers. Without food, we literally could not live. Every year it becomes harder and harder to make a living as a farmer or rancher. A big example of that is how ag becomes one of the main blames for global warming, when ag (and USA ag especially) contributes a small bit on the scale of global warming/climate change every year.

America is in the worst direct its been in all of the years of history. It may of been bad back then, but if someone from the 1900s-2000s came back and saw where we were today, I wouldn't blame them for never wanting to come back. For one example, housing is so bad, inflation is getting worse by the minute and when its time for us (people in high school and lower) to buy a house, you would have to have a good paying job just to afford the house. And the house would be 400k for 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. That's not even the big chunk of it. It's all the violence, and government.

I dissagree with America growing in a positive directions. Our healthcare is horrible, houses are too expensive to afford, college tuition costs more than should be legally allowed, and out President is too old, he shouldn't be in office he should be in retirement. America hates each other too much to grow forward. There is a huge division among us that will be near impossible to fix.

I completely disagree with this statement. America is heading in a really bad direction and only we can do something to stop it. Global warming is one of the world's biggest problems right now, our Earth has gone up a whole 1 Degrees Celcius, which is a lot for our world to handle. The government is also causing big problems in our world along with school shootings where kids who are learning are getting dragged into all of the government abuse.

I disagree that America is heading in the right direction. People have started to take a turn for the worse. We're creating tension and fighting between each other over silly scenarios. Society is struggling with illegal substance and drug abuse causing fatalities. America is going in the wrong direction.

I disagree all the way with this. America is so messed up we are just bringing ourselves down. With all of the sensitive people, our government, our healthcare, what is allowed in certain places and many other things. We over do things, make things not simple and just over complicate everything. For example the burning books, there is no absolute reason to ban books, we are just all falling.

I disagree strongly. I say this because we are not doing well as a country. Most people in the U.S. can hardly get by. Even though the gonverment is sending millions of dollars to other countrys. We as a country can't even agree on basic science. We are failing and we will continue to go down hill.

I disagree, but not to a full extent. I believe that as a society we are being more dependent on technology, but there are also somethings that are going in the right direction. Like people working for a healthier community and I also think things like sports are going well and are going in the right direction, each sport is becoming more competitive because the amount of people doing each sport which is good thing.

I don't agree or disagree. I feel that America is neither summiting nor plummeting. Yes there are a lot of things wrong in our society but I feel that we also have a lot of advancements and positive pieces.
