I think he will die after being stabbed by Othello from their brutal fight ending it all. I believe it would be hard to survive a stabbing wound back then, with their modern medicines of the time.

That would be a sick plot twist, considering Othello is dead.

I think that at the end of the play, Iago will be accosted by his peers. I suppose that they would want information from him. On the other hand, maybe he would be isolated from his community, based upon his uncertain part in the murderous fray. Either possibilities seem likely.

I think that Iago would have been caught, because there were still people that knew he was a bad person. I think cassio would have started spreading the word and eventually, everyone would have started avoiding Iago or persecuting him.

I think that he will probably be brought to court by other witnesses of the situation or be cast out of town for violating someone's peaceful marriage through deception, because any happenings of social disarray were widely erased at the time. I think that people were trying to uphold a society to what they thought were pristine standards.

I also think that he will likely be brought to court. It may happen, in part, on the grounds of his deceit and effect on Othello's marriage. I think the main cause, though, would be because he killed his wife.

I think after the play Iago will have to stand trial for his crimes. The judges will find him guilty for murder and scheming for the downfall of his peers. I think he will either be banished or executed because of the severity of his crimes.

I believe that Iago would have been put to death after the events of the play. I believe this because he was the one who planned out everything and everyone's death so he would be the one to blame for their deaths. They would probably sentenced him to death and would have killed him by decapitation in some way because of the time period.

I think that Iago tries to hussle other people and gets caught up in a situation he cant get out of. His karma is going to catch up with him sometime, and he might just mess with the wrong people. So I think Iago will get murdered in the near future.

I believe that Iago will be killed by Cassio. If Cassio doesn’t kill him I think he will bring Iago to prison where he can rot in a cell for the rest of his life. Another possibility is that Bianca would kill or heavily wound him for injuring Cassio.

I certainly hadn't thought of Bianca's possible involvement, but it does seem like a possible turn of events, especially if she found access to poison. (Poison being a common means of assassination in Shakespeare's plays, as well as it being associated with a more feminine form of violence.)

I think Iago would be punished somehow for all the things that he had done. Whether it is execution or banishment, any punishment would be well deserved. He had caused so much trouble with too many people that it would be hard to not recognize him.

Based open the line talking about torments opening Iago's lips. I would guess he would be tortured for information. They suspect him of having indirectly brought about the death of Desdemona and Othello, and will likely incarcerate him anyway for having slain his wife. Either way, whether prison, death, and/or torture awaits, it will be an unhappy end for Iago.

I think that Iago will run into problems later form his previous actions. His personality of trying to be deceiving and gaining power I think won’t change and he’ll still try to find a way to be the one in power. This will be harder for Iago because people will suspect him of things and I think he’ll act like it had nothing to do with him.

I think that Iago will eventually be killed. He set up a bunch of murders and I think that overtime all of his actions will catch up to him. Someone or someone(s) will end up killing Iago. But he's very persuasive and may convince them not to kill him.

I think Iago will end up going to some type of court, but he won't say anything so they will just have to keep him tied up and suffering in some sort of cell until he admits to what he did. He did swear that he would never say anything again, so maybe they will just kill him. I wish that Emelia could be the one to kill him, but she is obviously dead, so I just hope that he gets killed in a vengeful way.

I personally feel like Iago will try to make it sound like he did nothing but overtime he will eventually say or do the wrong thing. Which will end up him paying the price with death. Or he may end up convincing everyone that he isn't guilty and making them think he has done no wrong so they won't have any suspicion about Iago's past actions.
