They often represent hope and oppertunity. The warmth of summer and the freedom and adventure give us the association of hope and oppertunity. Walking on Sunshine and Here Comes the Sun are some songs about the sun and summer. Songs about sun and summer tend to be happy and upbeat.

The sun and summer often represent happiness or a feeling of freedom. I think we have these associations because summer break is a time when everyone is doing their own thing and are not in school. A song that talks about the sun is 29 by Run River North. Songs that contain the sun are usually happy and upbeat.

Typically, in works of fiction or general media, summertime and sun represent times of joy or youth. Party hard and stay young y’know? Songs about sun carry a metaphor of being happy, or relinquishing hold on a deep sadness. “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beetles, or “Walkin’ on Sunshine” by Katrina and the Waves, both of these songs represent happiness or the feeling of “being okay”.

They often symbolize joy and happiness, they are shown to cheer us up and make us more interested in the topic.The song "Sunroof" is talking about being out in the sunshine from his car and it is a happy song.

Sun and summer often represents relaxation, happiness, or fun. We have these associations because when it is sunny outside, that is when we tend to do fun things outdoors or we go and relax outside. It also is a bright and happy color so it shows happiness. Songs that talk about sunshine is Walking On Sunshine and Here Comes the Sun. These songs tend to be happy songs.

The summer or sun usually represent happiness/joy, since they bring warmth and freedom just as happiness and joy does. I don't really know any summer songs since they're usually way too obnoxious or over played, but that's what makes them summer songs since they're all upbeat and happy and what not.

In works of fiction, I believe sun and summer usually represents and sets the mood for a fun, adventurous, light-hearted story. I think they are typically associated with these things because the sun and summer seem to make everyone happy. Many things seemingly good happens in summer such as vacations and summer break. Some songs that talk about the sun or summer are "In the Summertime" or "Here Comes the Sun". In both songs, the mood is set to be happy and fun.

The sun usually represents happiness in fiction works, and cause the mood and tone of the book to be happier. I think we associate this because the sun usually means bright day, and we consider a sunny day a good day. Some summery songs would be like Sunroof, Sunflower, and Party Anthem. I think these songs represent summer because i associate these songs with up beat, fun times and They are always fun to listen to at summer BBQ.

The sun and summer are often associated with joy and peace. I think these are associated together because summer and sun are something most people enjoy so it evokes those same feelings. "Here Comes the Sun" by The Beetles is a song that talks about sun. It relates the coming sun to relief and happiness. The light happy tune of the song adds to this feel of happiness. Songs about the sun are typically positive.

The sun and summer usually represent the golden times or periods of life, when everything is flourishing after new birth and spring. I think we have these associations because light rays cause life to be in full swing by taking care of plants, animals, and people. Some songs that talk about summer are Cali Girl and Summer Air. That's why I have them on my summer playlist. They are happy and remind me of driving in Hawaii in a little red convertible with rose-tinted shades and a sun dress. Good vibes all around.

Summer and sun are usually associated with happiness and hope. We probably associate this because of the way summer and light is shown in movies, books, ect. When you say songs that are like summer, I always think of just happy songs in general. Sunshine- OneRepublic is pretty good.. Songs like this always bring up my mood so I would say they are happy songs

I like the idea that we don't inspire the movies that use sun as a metaphor, but they inspire us to associate that feeling with summer. We definitely wouldn't feel the same about summer without the prevalent media.

The sun and summer represent happy, fun, and freedom (specifically from school) vibes. I think we have these associations because we typically view school as an evil place and winter as a trap, when really winter can just be as fun as summer. Same thing with school. Summer is for working and sunburns and mosquitos. It just depends on your perspective. You Are My Sunshine. Sheesh. All For One. These songs are all happy and about letting loose or caring for someone who is as happy and bright as the sun.

I think it represents warmth and comfort. It also represents having a good time and a party. Summer also represents a sense of freedom and individuality by not being bound to anything. “Here Comes The Sun” and I also think I’m general upbeat songs. I feel like the songs can go both ways but tend to be mostly upbeat and happy and shows freedom and that people aren’t bound to things.

The sun and Summer represents new beginnings and happiness because the sun warms you and when you've been stuck in the winter and dark for a while the sun fills me with joy. Some songs like here comes the sun by the BEATLES or Sounds of Summer by the Movement are happy songs about getting out of a winter state and getting to a summer like state.

In fiction and modern art works, the sun and summer are associated with relaxation or fun, and happiness. What I have noticed in literature is that sun and summers are either the relaxation after the conflict or the silence before the storm. I think we make these associations because summer is popularly our time to relax and recuperate before life gets hard again. Some songs about summer are School's Out and The Summer of '69. Most songs about summer are high tempo, up beat songs, which usually convey happiness.

If spring represents new birth then summer must represent the life and experience that comes afterward. In a lot of works the sun represents life, power, and energy. This is most likely because of the harvest that comes in the sun, and the fond summer memories, but the sun can also represent a long and unchanging feeling, a want for more. Songs such as Lollipop, and Sunny represent that happy feeling.

Summertime often represents exemption and clarity. Summer is the time of letting everything breeze by and having a good time with the bros.I feel that most all of the songs about summer are based around getting out, parting, and just having a good time. A song that represents summer to me is Sun Roof and I've found that most all summer songs are about happiness and freedom.

It represents a happy setting or a joyful setting. I think we think sun is happy because its kinda like light and dark where we usually associate light as something better that darkness. One song is Summer by Calvin Harris. Most songs that talk about the sun or summer are usually happy songs.
