Othello is Iago’s frenemy (an enemy with whom one is friendly). Discuss other frenemies in literature, movies, television shows, or your own life. What makes these sorts of villains intriguing? Why?

What makes then interesting is the fact that you can see the good in them at some moments and then at other moments you realize that they won’t ever change.

The only Frenemy I can think of is that Disney movie called Frenemies. It’s about friends that go to enemies then back to friends.

There are frenemies in the movie Mean Girls. The girls in this movie pretend to be nice to but talk bad about others behind their back.

Riley is my frenemy because he has committed identity theft. He is intriguing because he has my identity.

The relationship between frenemy’s is interesting because you see the fake side of both people. You also see how one is trying to change the other for good and the other is wanting to change the “friend” for the worst.

Thor and Loki are frenemies because they hate each other but they have to trust each other sometimes. Thor and Loki are brothers and Loki is jealous that Thor is the king of asgaurd.

A frenemy that I remember is cats and dogs. In the movie cats dont get along but they work together to defeat an evil hairless cat. This makes it interesting because there's always suspicion that somebodies going to break trust and betray the other.

The only one I can think of is in Star Wars when Anakin becomes Darth Vader. Frenemies are interesting because they switch on and off and can very helpful at some points. They will also most likely turn on you again though so you have to be careful.

Another example of frenemy would be Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and Perry. Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz is intriguing because his plans always go wrong.

One example of this villain is Scar and Mufasa in The Lion King. These villains are intriguing because they make the storyline more interesting and they make the audience more entertained because they know what is going on but can’t let them know.

In Divergent, there’s this dude who I can’t remember the name of, but he’s a coward and betrays the group like 3 times but they were still friends? Some wack stuff right there.
