Most cultures have "rites of passage" which mark the transition from an adolescent to an adult. What are some "rites of passage" in our culture? Do you think these experiences help us "come of age"? How long do you think "growing up" takes?

Some rites of passage in our culture is getting your driver’s license and also voting. Yes I do think these experiences help us come of age because they make us need to become more responsible. I don’t think we ever finish growing up we are constantly still learning new things.

Getting your driver's license, your sweet 16, and your 18th birthday are all example in our culture of rites of passage. I think these examples, along with many more, do help us come of age. Although, I believe we never truly grow up

I think some rites of passage are graduating high school. I think these help us come of age because when you are out of school you are out on your own. I think growing up ends around 16-19 because you mature around this age.

I think that the last leg of growing up starts in this age group and depending on the person could potentially end in this age group if you really want to.

Our cultural rights of passage is obtaining your driver's license, graduating highschool, and being old enough to drink. I believe we don't fully matter until our late twenties, but the responsibilities along the way prepare us for the rest of our life

Some rites of passage in our culture is getting your drivers license, and turning eighteen and going to college or at least getting out of your house are just some. I think driving does because it should teach you to be more responsible and leaving your parents does because you have to fend for your yourself in the world. And I think growing up takes a lot more time than people think it does.

voting, moving out are both rite passages. Yes I think this makes us come of age because this gives us more responsibility on what we have to know about what’s going on in this world. Being informed. paying bills having a job

Some rites of passage are when you get your driver's license or your first job. I think these help us come of age because they give us more responsibilities. I think we never grow up since we always learn new things.

In our culture some rite of passages are getting your drivers license, entering high school, graduating high school, and in different religions you have more freedoms once you turn 16. I do think these experiences help us come of age. Growing up doesn’t take a certain amount of time. You are constantly growing mentally and developing new ideas.

Some “rites of passage” in our culture are getting your drivers license, graduating high school, and for some it could be their 21st birthday. These experiences help us mature and make good decision that we can befit from in the future. Growing up should take up to the time that you are able to make reasonable decisions on your own and you are able to act mature about them.

Some of rites of passage are get a drivers license and turning sixteen. I think they do because like when you hat your license it’s now you have to be safe and responsible or you will lose it. I think you never really grow up you kinda always have the childish sense, you grow out of things and grow but you kinda stay the same.

A rite of passage in our culture is our 18th birthday. I think that you never stop growing up because you never stop learning. I believe that turning 18 definitely helps us come of age because we graduate and move out around that time.
