What are your predictions for Part 3 of Fahrenheit 451? Why?

I think Mildred will rat out Montag about all the books because she won’t want to lose her house. I’m not sure what will become of the hidden books in the backyard of Montag’s house. Although I do think the mechanical dog might sniff them out.

I believe that in part 3 Faber will tell more people than just Montag. Montag and him will take down the government restrictions.

I predict that Faber will die because he is old and it seems that in all stories the old innocent person that the audience loves, ends up dying. I also predict that Montag’s wife will come back because she doesn’t have a job so she won’t be able to survive long and she may want to be some famous if Montag reintroduces books to society.

I think that Montag will go against the government and fight for the right to read books. The government will then be completely against book and whoever has one will get the death penalty.

I would normally have multiple predictions when I am reading a book but I don’t really have any predictions for Fahrenheit 451. If I did have a prediction for part 3 it would be that Montag will grow in his knowledge of books and will read more books.

I believe that Montag will be forced into hiding until he is eventually caught. He will become a martyr & will die fighting to share his newfound knowledge. I think the ending of the book will be a cliffhanger about his society to instill fear & caution into the readers.

I think In part 3 of the book montag will start to discover more secrets the town is keeping and maybe show more trusted people his discoveries.

I think that Montag will become a fugitive and try to uproot the government the best he can. I think that Faber will eventually die or betray him eventually maybe near the end. This being a dystopian novel I doubt that there will be a satisfying ending. The oppression will likely go on.

I think it’d be really cool if Montag goes around the city lighting everything on fire. I really think Montag will die at the end. The government will win and there won’t be a happy ending.
