The gift of love is unbeatable. When my family takes time to just be with me and spend time together, that is the best gift ever; that is, if you consider it a gift.
I agree love is probably the most meaningful gift anyone can receive
I agree love and time can be very meaningful.
I haven’t had a most meaningful gift, I think that anything you receive from someone you love is a really meaningful gift. The effort behind the gift and who gives it means the most to me.
“It’s the thought that counts”
A year or two ago our family did a 12 days of Christmas for a family we knew in need. We started off small with things like chapstick or something. By the last day, we’d given them a whole Christmas dinner with ham and potatoes and stuff. The best part is that it was anonymous and yeah. It was fun.
Service is the best gift.
Surprises always make it more fun
My favorite gift is being able to be with my family and not have to worry about anything. The materialistic stuff is cool too but it doesn’t last like family. You can’t get any better than spending quality time with the people you love.
Yeah I agree that materialistic items are only temporary. Family is forever.
Hmmm I smell cap.
The best gift I’ve received is moving here. I moved here during Christmas and I got to spend Christmas with all my cousins I haven’t seen in years. It was really special.
That’s really cool, that moving here means so much to you.
That’s cool that you got to hangout with your cousins.
Yah I like Christmas 🎄
Personally, the greatest and most meaningful gift I’ve received is God’s love for me. This gift is so special, because I’m completely undeserving of it yet it was still given to me. This time of this year helps to remind me just how amazing that gift is.
Dang. Nothing can top that. That is an amazing response
Nothing gets better than that
I fully agree
That’s so true.
The most meaningful gift I have received is picture books. This is meaningful to me because it shows me memories from all the past years.
That’s so much fun. I love looking at old pictures and memories.
Yes I love picture books
My most meaningful gift I have received is probably hockey skates. They let me do what I love and I have a lot good memories skating with my dad.
The most meaningful gift I’ve ever received is probably the gifts I receive are from my parents. They are meaningful because throughout the the year they listen to what I say I want even if I don’t remember to wish for it.
I agree with you.
Parents remember so much. They really know you the best.
The best gift I’ve ever received was the gift of joining the church. That decision has changed my life and I honestly don’t know who I would be today without it. My favorite gifts from other are usually the home made ones. It shows that the person took the time to make something and was thinking about you, rather than just buying a chocolate bar off the shelf. Not that I’ll ever refuse a chocolate bar.
Homemade gifts are always so heartwarming.
I like the correlation between yours and Madelines prompts about the homemade things.
That is really the best.💕
I love your faith it’s truly an inspiration and you are a gift to me and I value our friendship <3
The most meaningful gift that I have gotten is my family. I love them. And it is the gift that keeps on giving.
That’s a really good gift.
The most meaningful gift I’ve ever received was a pillow Janessa made me. This was a good gift because it had my favorite superhero on it and she hand made it. This meant a lot to me because to me it showed that she wanted to take time to get me a gift that she knew I would love. Also this year she got me cat butt magnets and I gotta say that those meant a lot to me. Thanks nessa!
I love that for you!
Thanks Madeline. I love making things for you!
The most meaningful gift I’ve ever received was when I got to go see my sister in Colorado last Christmas. It was kinda cool cause I hadn’t seen her in forever.
The most meaningful gift I have received was a saint christopher necklace. Both me and my brother have one and on the back is our future. My brothers back was a skater and mine a surfer. My great grandmother is catholic and means a lot to me so it makes me feel safe and as if she’s always with me because I know there’s not much time left with her and she’s far away:)
That’s really cool!
It’s great that you have something to connect with her.
MY favorite gifts was probably my phone. It wasn’t really special though. I can’t really thing of a special gift.
The most meaningful gift I have ever received was a little sister a few days after Christmas. She was so cute and happy. She also made every one else happy and now she is still cute.
Now she comes up to you and punches you in the crotch
The most meaningful gift I’ve given is a matching necklace with me and my mom. We bothe have the same initials so it had our initials on the necklace.
My brother made me an ornament and it meant a lot because he hand made it and it was really meaning full.
Handmade gifts are the best.
One of the best gifts that I ever received was my dog. He is an awesome yellow lab he is super soft and loves to be pet, but he’s kind of an idiot, he will run up to you and ram you in the crotch and he sleeps on his back with his feet sticking in the air but other than that he’s pretty cool.
That dog is super sweet though
Love that for you haha dogs really are the best though.
I received a wallet that my grandpa had when he passed a couple of years ago. It isn’t nice to have something to remind me of a lot of things. Gifts are made special through meaning and connection wether it be through memorial or through sacrifice of the gifted. As humans we tend to really value the connection to other humans that objects can make very real and physical
My wallet is also from my Great Grandpa after he passed away.
Connections and thought really do add to the value of gifts.
The most meaningful gift I ever received was from my dad. So I love blankets and I have what feels like a billion of them...haha well I asked for one for Christmas and my mom said sweetie you have so many you’re fine, thank goodness for my eaves dropping dad and later on my consenting mom, I ended up getting the best blanket ever. I was happy that even though my dad knew I had to many he was still going to get me another one :)
Blankets are really amazing I agree
I love this.
Your Dad came in clutch.
The most meaningful gift I’ve been given would be these little polished nuts from Costa Rica that my grandmother found on the beach, they’re special to me since cause she took the time to make them she didn’t just buy them.
I have receive many meaningful gifts but my family is one of the most meaningful gifts I have received. They support me and they are awesome!
The most meaningful gift I have ever gotten was my family because they care about me and I know I always have them.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
