Do you think everyone should receive a participation award for every competition of event, regardless of skill level? Why or why not? What are the advantages or disadvantages?

No not every should great a reward for just showing up. The people that try there hardest should. If everybody gets a reward then no one will try. Are world thrives on people who try and if we get rewarded for not trying then we won’t grow as a people.

I think that most of the time there shouldn’t be a participation award. Sometimes I think it’s appropriate to give a participation award. If kids get participation awards for everything without putting in work, they learn they don’t have to work

No not every one should receive a metal. It creates a false sensation of hope and everyone thinks that no matter what they do they’ll get something there’s no reason to work for it. Leave a Reply. |
