In chapters 2 and 3, Scout begins her public school career. What were your "first days" of school like? Think about your earliest school experiences and how they compare to Scout's.

My first day of kindergarten was pretty sad. Right at the start when I got to class I didn’t know what to do and I was really confused when the announcements came on. After awhile though I made friends and asserted my dominance.

I was new and my only real friend was Will. I was really nervous. I also didn’t bring a lunch so the teacher had to make me one.

My first days of school were okay. It was hard to make friends at first but eventually friends came. I remember listening to our teacher Mrs. Castorson read these funny books about a bird.

I was similar to Scout, I loved learning stuff off of my brothers homework before I stared school so when I did start I knew how to count decently high and I could write my full name in print and cursive

My “first days” of school were pretty boring because I was homeschooled so everything was really easy and I got ahead faster. My earliest experiences were probably better than Scouts because I was homeschooled and didn’t have to deal with annoying people and teachers.

First she got told off by the teacher them a bum little kid came in and told the teachers off whilst the brownoser supported the teacher. My first experience of school was traumatic. I was balling and wanted to go home and then orren was laughing at and he still will bring up that I cried on the first day of kindergarten.

I don’t remember my first day of school. I do remember wanting to go to school with my sister and then my sister saying to keep my distance at school but at home it was fine to be ourselves. That compares to scout because scout also looked forward to school. Also Jem told scout to keep her distance.
