He comes back cause he feels neglected at home. We learn that his family doesn’t pay enough attention to him. His father is not as nice and caring as Atticus. Dill is a good character and I’m not sure what his purpose might be.

Atticus definitely is more caring than Dills father.

He comes back because his parents weren’t giving him attention plus he’s engaged to Scout. That the family doesn’t care too much about Dill. His father is different because Attitus is very engaged with his kids while Dill’s dad is not. Dill is character that likes to live in ignorance and is very smart , I feel a bad influence on Scout because of his constant scheming on Boo Radley. His purpose is comic relief mixed in with him bringing Boo Radley back into the picture throughout the book.

Dill comes back to Maycomb because he said his father was mean to him and didn’t actually build a boat with him. He explains that his parents tolerate him but deep down they don’t really want him there. Dills father isn’t very involved in his life which makes Dill independent. His purpose in the novel is to make Jem and Scout think about things in a way they never thought of.

He comes back because his family is somewhat abusive and neglects him. Atticus is actually a nice and caring father. Dill is more of a day dreamer than a realist. I think he’s the one that keeps things from being so serious all the time.

Dill comes back and chose to runaway because he didn’t feel wanted. He said that is father would tell him that they would do something but then never would. Dill is the kind of person who would rather believe the fantasy side of the story then the truth about something. Dill is important to the story because he is a big impact in scouts life.

He feels left out. His family doesn’t pay much attention to him. His dad is not that great of a guy. Dill is a good character for the most part. His purpose might be to cause trouble.

He came back because his parents didn’t pay attention to him. We learn that his family doesn’t really care about him and that it’s pretty disfunctional. His father is different from Atticus because Atticus cares and teaches while dills father doesn’t care. Dill adds more imagination and an adventure element to the book whereas if it was just scout and jem without dill it’d be boring.

Dill feels he has no purpose at home and he does not get very much attention. His family does not act like they enjoy having him around and kind of buy his presence with toys. His father fails to uphold agreements or activities he had said he would do with Dill unlike Atticus who fulfills his word and involves his kids in his life. In the novel I think Dill is an important figure to Scout which he may be important in a future uproar in the book.

Dill returns because he was being neglected by his father. We learn that Dill is a needy boy who requires attention from everyone around him so he ran away to his friends in Maycomb. Not sure yet, maybe a relatable character for Scout and Jem.

Dill ran away because he didn’t feel wanted. He also thought his father was mean. Atticus is very engaged with his children.

Dill left because his father wasn’t what he imagined. Dill wanted to build a boat with his father and they never got around to it. Atticus is a different kind of father because he makes sure to spend time with his children.

Dill comes back because he thinks he’s parents are better off without him. We learn his family is different from Scouts. We learn that Dill’s dad doesn’t really give him attention. Dill is a person who doesn’t believe reality. His purpose is to keep Scout and Jen kinda of entertained with his stories.

Dill left his home because of his mother and new father leaving him out of things. We learned that his family neglects him and doesn’t love him. His father is different than Atticus because he doesn’t care about his kids. Dill is the character that always looks on the bright side of things and will give many important lessons in the story.

Dill returns because he feels unwanted and neglected at home. Atticus cares about Dill more than Dill’s father does. We can tell that Dill’s family does not give him the attention he wants, knowing this we can assume that Dill is needy and longs for attention.

Nobody payed attention to dill. Besides Atticus, he cares about his children and doesn’t neglected them. Dills parents didn’t care about him they wanted him out of the house mostl. His role is to make scout and Jem think hard about things.

Dill doesn’t have the best home life and is neglected. We learn that his father is a troubled man who treats Dill poorly, unlike Atticus who is a loving kind man. Dill himself, is a young boy who does food with what he has, he is very similar to Jem and Finch.. I believe his purpose in this novel is to show the reader that good can come from bad no what what circumstances.
