The sun and summer often represent that life is good or is going well. We have these associations because the sun just makes you think of happy things. Most of the songs that talk about the sun or summer tend to be happy songs. Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles is an example.

Summer and sun often represent happiness. Because when the sun is out we are generally happy. And all of the songs dealing with the sun are happy and make you happy

Summer and sun usually represent warmth and happiness. We have these associations because it’s usually a time where we have a break from school and can hang out with friends. Most songs I’ve heard about summer are mostly happy.

The sun usually means happy and joyful and the reason is because it’s super bright and warm and positive. The song I think of is summertime sadness and it’s about being sad cause summers over.

It represents happiness, love, joy, and family because it’s bright and warm and lightens our moods. One song is “here comes the sun.” These songs usually tend to be happy. When we hear about clouds or storms, people are usually are in a bad mood or having a bad day.

The sun and summer represent fun and freedom. We make this association because you have fun in summer and you feel free and happy. There’s Youngblood, Dance the Night Away, Summer of ‘69. The songs are usually happy songs.

Happiness. Because when it’s summer time usually it’s nice and warm out and you can go out and do stuff whilst when it’s winter it’s just cold and miserable. A song that talks about the summer is “Summer” by Calvin Harris, that song bumped back in 2014. They are usually happy except “Summertime Sadness” that song just ruined the vibe back in 2013.

I think that the sun or summer time is associated with positiveness. Walking on sunshine is a classic example of this. One reason I think we associate things with the sun is because a new sun means a new day and new start.

A song that I think about when I think of summer is Under the Sea from the little mermaid. I think of not only this song as happy but all other songs about summer and the sun.
