Fear is used to control people by using threats to keep them in line. One example would be the Nazis keeping the Jews in line by threatening death for disobedience.

Fear can be used to control people because as human when we are in a state of fear we are easily persuaded and vulnerable. A great example is when the Nazis took control of Europe.

Fear can control people easily if we let it. Just like in old times people would use words or actions to emit fear to to others. It often holds us back and if we let it, prohibits us.

Imagine this, having an older sibling that threatened you if you say you’re going to tell your parents. We use fear against people to make them do what we want.

Fear is really often used to control people and what they do around the world. An example is how certain countries will provide very harsh punishments (sometimes death) if you do a thing against what they want, this is often used with dictators.

Fear has been used many time to gain power because if you can either provide safety for people or scare people so they won’t do anything rebellious. An example is when slaves worked on plantations and if they did anything crazy they were beat and staved or worse.

Fear is constantly used to keep people from doing or saying certain things. For example, during the Cold War, it kept a lot of Americanism paranoid of nuclear war.

There are threats of war and NK bombing us so we stay in a constant state of fear and submission. In the past Hitler scared everyone with threats and his army, which were scary.

When people are scared they are very vulnerable. It is easy to manipulate them because they are willing to do anything to stay safe. Tabloids in supermarket checkouts use fake news to say things like “if you don’t vote for Trump the government will take your money.”

Fear is often used to control people like people with power can use it against society. Hitler is a great example when using fear to control people. He made people believe that Jews were so bad and if they didn’t believe him or help the Jews he would hurt them, putting fear into them being able to control them.

I fell that fear is very often to control groups of people. Some commercials show all of the “cool or popular people” using their product. People then are afraid of being left out or being the odd one out so they buy whatever the product may be. Some examples are the IPhone XR or new Nike shoes.
