What they went through reminds me to appreciate that I have both of my parents. Life would be so different if my dad had been there. They make me realize that you should be great full for what you still have you never know when something could happen to someone you love.

Reading that article makes me appreciate what I do have and not long for what I don’t have. Makes me grateful that I have my loving parents with me through life. It changes my perceptive and makes me see that those people were brave for what’s they did before they died.

I would feel very sad. It is hard to grow up without one of your parents. I can see how they feel cause my dad was in the military. He would be gone for a year sometimes. But it definitely makes me appreciate what I have. I’ve always known that side of 9/11.

I would feel sad because I wouldn’t even get to be born. These stories make me appreciate all that I have. I’m very thankful. I guess I didn’t realize all the children that wouldn’t even get to meet their mom or dad. That’s pretty sad.

If I lost my dad in 9/11 I would feel crushed that I wouldn’t have that father figure to help me through my life. Those teens stories really make me realize that I’m very fortunate to have my dad to have those fun memories with. Yes, they do change my perception of 9/11. I knew that so many people did pass away but I never thought of all the kids that wouldn’t have their parents anymore.

Putting yourself in their shoes is easier said then done because you won’t actually know how they feel, you can only assume. I would feel heart broken and also knowing you can’t do anything about. The stories do make me appreciate what I have and that I still have two parent role models. The stories didn’t change my view on the situation. I’ve always had respect for the family losses and their stories, and the whole situation in general.

The stories of these teens definitely make you think of how lucky you are. I’m lucky enough to have been born and raised with two loving parents. It’s sad to hear the unfortunate stories of other youth and how they remember and honor them. When I think of 9-11 I usually think of all the individuals who died but I don’t usually think of all the friends and family of thousands who were killed in 9-11.

I don’t know how I would feel because I won’t be the same person that I am today. I know that I love my family and they support me in everything I do. Although I might be stronger because anything that happens to you will shape you. I have always had simpathy for the people of 911 but it does go a little more in depth.
