I don’t agree. We control what is going to happen to us whether we succeed or not and whether we die is god choosing our life’s path.

If god controlled the past and your present then he is most likely controlling the future so you have contradicted yourself.

I agree that who controls past controls the present. If you can rewrite history you can be in the right no matter what happens

I believe the quote means that the people with and in control will change what happens and controls how things will happen. Yes I agree bc the government has controlled the past the present and the future.

I agree, by controlling the past and present, you can control everything that once happened and will happen. I agree because if people don't know what is correct, then they will never know what is wrong.

I think that the quote means that if you don't care to learn the past people will take advantage of that. I agree with this quote. If you change the past so that it is better it will have worse effects on the future. If you don't care about history or know history it will repeat itself. And if you don't know history people can change it to what they want.

I agree with this quote this is a strong definition to common history. All these things revolve around history and how it happens with recurring events. Whoever controls the present make their own past by their decisions and a lot of the time they aren't thought through.

I don't think that people can control the past or future, but I do agree that if people don't know the true past that it can affect the future. However I do think people can change how the past is perceived they leave out information as well as make things up to make the past look better in our eyes which will change the way the future would have turned out because it will just cause history to repeat itself because we didn't learn from our mistakes.
