In film step parents are usually depicted as evil and step children are usually like the odd one out. I do not think either of them are portrayed accurate or fair

In films relationships between stepparents and stepchildren are generally depicted as not good. Cinderella is a great example of this. I think that in real life those relationships are really good or not at all, but there aren't any inbetween.

Usually in film its like the evil stepparents or step siblings. Occasionally there are happy stepparents/siblings. For example Cinderella is one that has evil stepparents and siblings.

The depiction of stepchildren and stepparents in films and fiction in a very negative way. They usually are shown when one of the individuals dislike the other. This is true for the movie Cinderella. In Cinderella, all her step sisters and her stepmom both did not like Cinderella and treated her negatively. Movies usually depict these types of relationships to an extreme to give people something to view that is interesting to watch.

In film stepparents and stepchildren hate each other. In real life they are a normal family or they all hate each other.

In films step parents are usually displayed as the mean and unliked parent. I think that in some circumstances they are displayed fairly but as a whole I think that they are portrayed unfair.

They are depicted as evil like in Cinderella or they have some kind of rival-er. They ether hate each other or the like them. The depictions are all over the place so the are probably depicted accurately.

In films step parents are usually crazy. Step children are usually odd ball kids that no one likes. Mason says step family is better.

In films step-family are usually depicted as bad people. They are also depicted as unloving and cruel. I don't know if it is an unfair depiction because I don't know many people with step-family. I would guess that all of them aren't like that.

I think that step relatives are generally depicted as negative in films. One example of this is in Cinderella. I don’t think this is an accurate portrayal because not all step parents hate their step children and not all step children hate their step parents.
