What does Dr. King mean by the famous quote above? What is character? Can it be seen? How does “character” relate to fictional “characters”? Provide specific examples.

He means that he wants a country where people are judged by what they do and who they are rather than their skin color. Character is what makes someone who they are. It can be seen by what people do. Fictional characters are made with certain characteristics just like real people have certain characteristics.

I think Mr.King meant that looks don't have to do with someones personality. Character is made by choices one makes to shape there personality people see. Characters in fictional stories have personality shaped by an author or writer.

Dr. King means that one should judge another on how they act, rather than their skin. Character is how someone acts, like they are kind or rude. Character can be seen in how one acts but it must be read through judgement. Character relates to fictional characters because fictional characters usually represent a certain character trait. Ex: A knight usually represents bravery.

I like how you said that they represent a certain character. i think we often catagorize ourselves that way as well, when we look at other people we label them and that is how we remember them. ex. i remember someone as kind because they were nice.

I think that Dr. King means that no one should be judged by their color. A character is how the person acts and the way they handle things. Character is what makes one unique. It isn't a specific person, its one made up.

What Dr. King means is that he wants racism to be stopped and people to be judged by there personality other then looks. Character is how somebody acts. Character can be seen by watching and seeing how someone acts. Fictional characters are based off of somebody's character

I think that Dr. King means that there is more to a person than the color of their skin. Character is what makes you you. Character is related to fictional charters because they aren't a real person but you feel like you know them. It is like personality but it goes deeper.

Martin wants equality for the future. Character in this situation means the children's content of their personality. It can be seen through their actions not judging a book by its cover. He is relating "character" as the thing that makes the child unique and what makes them themselves and not being a blatant obvious actor or actress individually.

He want people to judge his kids by how they act and treat other people not on how they look. Character is how a person act with other people and you can kind of see it like in how they stand when they act when they are around certain people and you can here it in they way someone speaks to people. Most they time a fiction character is shaped around their character or they way they act.

He feels we as people should be judged buy the way we act and not just by how we look. Character is the way you act if decent or not. Character is a way people judge you. Yes character can be seen. Fictional characters are built around characteristics of us.

Dr. King means in his famous quote that it shouldn't matter what his kids look like but rather how they act. Character is how they react to others and to the world around them and what it has resulted. The word character relates to a fictional character because they react to things differently and as result act and behave similarly. An example of this is in the movie Cars how Lightning McQueen character is how he was raised like he was the top because he was a race car.

What Dr. King said that he dreamed for was equality for all and people to be treated for who they are as an individual person and not based upon the color of their skin. Character is how someone carries themselves such as with respect or through actions like helping others. Character can be seen through actions. Fictional characters are typically more easier to tell about their character and who they are as a person. Example: Voldemort from Harry Potter.

Dr.King states that he would love to see a nation where race will not define us but the actions and choices we take will define us. A character is what choices and decisions a person will take or make due to experience .The character of people is what make fictional characters enjoyable because without any drive or mistakes it would make any book or movie painfully boring. An example would be why any horror movie like the shinning would be boring if the characters where smart.

The contents of someones character is the personality they hold. It is the attitude someone displays and the attributes of morals they value. Someones can not be seen unless you take a moment to stop and get to know someone or observe the person around others. A character is what makes up a person and helps define them; both in reality and in fiction.

Dr. King is saying that you shouldn't judge someone from the outside but its on the inside that matters the most, and that the color of someones skin shouldn't change the way you judge them. Character is what makes you who you are and unique to each other and how people present themselves to everyone. I think character can be seen because its how you put your self out to the world its how the world sees you. Character and fictional characters are related because fictional characters are based off of what characters people see in the world or how they see characters in the world.

I think that Dr. doesn't want people to see people in color because he thinks that color is irrelevant. Character is the embodiment of a person, and how they act. Character relates to fictional characters by showing how they think and how they act. In my opinion any fiction character can show character.
