Hamlet himself is the most deceptive character in the play. He acts extremely deranged and is unpredictable. He also is manipulative and often aggressive to get his point across.

I agree he does get pretty aggressive

I think Ophelia because she’s a very kind and sweet. She can be a bit emotional but gets her point across most of the time and tires to find a strategy for things to work out.

Hamlet. Because he's crazy. He's manipulative and way too aggressive. He's unstable to the point it's a danger to others.

I think that the most deceptive character is Hamlet. Hamlet puts on an act for everyone and isn’t truly who he says he is. He plays the role of what other people want him to be and acts crazy.

Hamlet is the most deceptive character by far. He is making everyone think he is insane. With distracting from his plot to get revenge on his uncle. This makes him the most deceptive because he is tricking everyone into thinking one thing he wants hem to think.

I think hamlet is the best at deceiving. He is playing two sides at the same time and is confusing many people

Obviously hamlet. He has everybody fooled as to the the fact that he is mad. He also keeps his true intentions hidden. His emotions are a blend of lies that create a greater truth.

Hey dude, you need to capitalize Hamlet. Also I agree he really is fooling everyone with his “diseased mind”.

You are right, he is great at hiding.

Claudius is the most deceptive character because he is literally trying to keep the murder of his brother under wraps. He gas the biggest secret and deceives his people.

Hamlet Is the most deceptive of them all, he acts crazily towards the others in the story and bends them all to his will in some way or another. Whether by lying or convincing them he’s crazy so they go along with whatever he wants

At least Hamlet’s methods are effective.

Perhaps Claudius, because of his actual remorse from murdering the king, yet managing to conceal his actions from the kingdom and most of the people within it.

I think the queen is very deceptive. Since it seems like she knows more than she lets on. With trying to spy on Hamlet and marrying her husbands brother really soon after his death.

Yeah! You would think she would at least suspect claudius of foul play and definitely not marry him right off the bat.

The most deceptive character is Claudius, he has hidden so much. His hidden motive of getting the crown, cost his brother his life. Who knows what else he is hiding.

I believe Hamlet is the most deceptive. He shows everyone a different version of himself and doesn't allow himself to be truthful. When he talks to his mother he tells her how he is putting on an act to be mad, even though he seems to be truly be mad.

I would say Hamlet. He has mood swings all the time and is hard to read what he really is thinking. He also shows multiple sides of himself to other people.

I think that Hamlet is the most deceptive person throughout the play. He decives Ophelia before he even starts going mad. None of the people start seeing his true plans right before he wants them too.

That’s a good example to point out that he started deceiving Ophelia before he even started acting mad.

I think that Hamlet is one of the most deceptive people in the play. There are a lot of characters that are deceptive but Hamlet never shows his true colors. No one in the play knows anything about Hamlet and he plays everyone for his own success.

Polonius is deceptive throughout the whole play. Depending on who he is around and talking to, he has different sides. When talking to hamlet he agrees with everything he says. Around the king and queen, he talks down on hamlet.

I believe Hamlet is the most deceptive in the play since he has all this emotion but hides the rest of the good emotion behind a mask. He wants the other characters to believe the only feeling he feels is being mad and they believe him
