Daily Literary Quote
“They had far more in common than either realized. One was born Catholic, the other Protestant. One was born Irish, the other British. But neither was the greatest difference between them. One was born rich and the other poor.” - Joseph O’Conner Journal Prompt What social classes exist in America? Do you think all classes are treated equally? Why or why not? Is it easy to change one’s social class?

Social classes are hard to get along with others because the rich think they are better than the poor. The Irish think they are better so then everyone argues because they think theirs is better. As of today they still aren’t treated equal due to money and the poor. It’s not easy to adapt to change.

The classes in America are poverty, middle class, and rich. The social classes are not treated equally, each class is treated based on the amount of wealth they have. Changing your social class is doable but can be difficult.

Rich, solvent, and not rich. Definitely not equally, but not as bad as it could be. Depends on how and which way one goes about changing; going down, not hard; going up, a little more difficult unless you find a lucrative business.

In today's society there are roughly 3 classes. The poor, middle class, and the upper class or rich. It is very easy to see that some classes are favored more than others and reaching a different class may be very difficult. Most people are born into a certain class and stay there, others have to work hard for them. While the lower class may really struggle to get by.

There are technically 3 social classes in America, not all are equal, because the highest class has money to get away with whatever they want. And changing a social class isn’t as easy as some of us would like

The wealthy, the middle class and the poverty class. They are not treated equally because different paths are available within different classes. It takes time and effort to switch social classes making it somewhat difficult.

There are several social classes such as the rich, the people in the middle, and the poor people. They are definitely not treated equally. The poor people and middle class people are more likely to be looked down upon by the upper class just because they have less money. Equality doesn't really exist in the social classes

Wealth and looks create social classes. Social classes are very much treated differently. The govt treats rich and poor very differently. Some social changes are easy to make but others are hard

The three classes are upper class, middle class and poor. All the classes are not treated equally some receive different judgement then other classes and some are judged on one thing the other isn’t. It is not easy to move social classes because even if you do everyone will still remember how you were and associate you with that class.

There are many social classes in America. Many depend on wealth or where you live. The rich get treated differently then the poor, like the schools are more funded and transportation is a lot better.

There are three different classes of wealth in America. In comparison to ancient history each class is treated equally but material possessions are different. It is easier to change ones class than anywhere else in the world.

There are many different social classes within America. The classes vary from the different interests you have and what events/activities you participate in. In the end I would say the most dramatic difference in class is the classes you get put in according to your wages.

There are 3 social classes. The wealthy, middle class and poor. They are not treated equal at all because each has different ways and paths than the others. Yes you can change but it will take time just because of hard work.

There's poverty, middle class and upper class in America. And each one is treated differently. Upperclass people get anything they want including good education, good healthcare and more opportunities whereas people in poverty who struggle paycheck to paycheck are looked down upon and they don't get hardly any of the opportunities or advantages that upperclass people get. Society is run by wealth and whether or not you have that wealth determines how you get treated

In the U.S. we have the specific classes we use to define people; upper, working, and middle. I don’t believe all classes are treated equally because they all have different standards. I think it’s hard to change one’s social class because I believe you are born into your social class.

There are many different classes in America. It depends on where you live or what you wear and drive, wealthy has more of an advantage and that’ll be really hard to change in our world. Since not everybody cause afford things like wealth. Example would be at different schools cause some are more funded and have better things like transportation, sports, and food
