Friends are important because they are the people you can go to if you don’t have anyone else to go to. They are the people that will make sure you’re always happy. When I first moved here I had no friends because I was the new kid but then I had a few people come up to me and show me around now I’m still friends with them and we have a blast together still.

A time I realized who my true friends are was after the volleyball game. I was having a rough time and they stayed at the school with me till about midnight making sure I was okay and being there for me. True friends help you get through everyday and are always there for you.

Friends are important because they are the truest mirrors you can have. Your friends determine where you are and what your doing, friends are always there. If your friends are all “yes men” or people who are dishonest with you, they aren’t your real friend. If your friends are mean sometimes and you bicker it’s probably a solid friendship

Friends are important because they support you and push you to do your best. They show wether they’re true or not in harsh times when things aren’t just difficult for you but for them as well. When you need help with things friends step in.

Friends are one of the most important things on earth. Friends help you belong and make you feel good about yourself. A few summers ago I got a four wheeler stuck and I called a good friend and he came and helped me get it unstuck and game me a ride back to town.

Friends are important because they are the ones that stick with you through every tough thing you experience in life. If they stay through the tough things then they are your real friends, if they give up on you then they weren't your friend to begin with. I discovered who my true friends were when a lot of bad things happened in my life and they were still there for me when I needed them.

Friends stick with you through stressful situations, even when they don’t need to, but the real ones will just because they want you to know that you don’t have to face anything alone. Friends show support and compassion, and aren’t afraid to prove you wrong or have an opinion that is different to yours. Real friends are there for you, not just for the idea of you or how they’ll benefit from your presence but for the you that is human, and the you that is imperfect, and the you that will be there for them too when they need it.

One time the boy that I liked told me all about what someone was saying about me. This girl was someone I thought I could trust and was really close with. I was so hurt when I found out everything she was saying about me. In the end I was grateful for knowing who I could and couldn’t trust.

Friends are the biggest influence in your life. They are important because it is someone other then your family to tell information to and you are able to connect with them emotionally. I discovered who my true friends were when I was going through a rough time and everyone that was fake walked out of my life, which I am thankful for now, and the ones who were there for me from one day stayed and helped me.

Someone once said, "Friends are the family you choose" and it's true. When no one else is there for you and you're lost in life, a good friend will always have your back and treat you like family.

Friends should be the ones who are there for you, know matter what it is. If they are not then you figure out they aren't truly there for you. Over this summer someone who I thought was my friend did me dirty. I'm really glad that I figured it out because I try not to have that one person in my life.
