Daily Literary Quote
“In essence the Renaissance was simply the green end of one of civilization’s hardest winters.” - John Fowles, The French Lieutenant’s Woman Journal Prompt Write a paragraph about a contemporary person (at least 20th century) you think is an ideal “Renaissance Man” (or Woman!) – someone who is accomplished in science, art, music, etc. – and why.

I think Nickelback is an ideal renaissance man because he didn’t have the easiest life from the beginning. He had to learn how to do things and make money on his own. After he started making music he became more and more successful. He is still one of the worldwide known music artists and is still making music today.

A real renaissance man I can think of is Craig Thompson aka Mini Ladd. He’s a very funny comedian, artist (of memes, which go in hand with his comedy), as well as an incredible electric guitarist. Is he the smartest, for anyone who knows him, absolutely...not. However he is beloved for his different creative ideas and talents that make him memorable as well as have achieved a lot. Gives a lot and has been rewarded for his many achievements in life.
