Daily Literary Quote
“In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.”

I don’t think war is necessary. I believe all conflicts could be solved by talking however I also think war is inevitable. Different view points will lead to argument which leads to conflict.

I agree that war is not necessary but in the end we fight anyways.

I think it depends on what you think is needed. I personally think we have to have war for resources, to settle differences, and protect our own interests as a country.

I kind of agree. Violence shouldn’t be our first answer to “settling differences” thought.

War isn't a necessity but it will always happen. Everyone has different opinions and will disagree to the point of combat.

I believe conflicts could be solved without war. Though I think war is impossible to avoid because of humans habit to want to fight.

I feel like it is not, but it’s how we handle our problems. I feel like we could talk it out but we always go to who has the most power. It always ends up being pure violence.

I do think war is necessary. I think that’s it’s necessary because not everyone is going to peacefully compromise, so sometime we have to go to war to have a peace with that country. War also can stop terrorist originations that we disagree with.

I believe that war is not necessary. The idea of fixing problems with violence is just not worth the time. You can solve the problems that everyone has through a peaceful discussion.

War is necessary to rid the world of certain threats to innocent people. War to take out terrorist organizations is necessary. In my opinion it is a necessary evil.

The need for being number one drives humans to conflict. I don’t think war is necessary but with different points of views around the war conflict will always be an issue.

I feel like war isn’t necessary, but I do feel like it is inevitable. No matter what happens, someone looks to war. Stories of the old war should be a reason we try to avoid it. People have always looked to violence to solve their problems and I don’t think that is going to change any time soon

Certain types of war is necessary like the wars In America were necessary to make our country. But the wars in the Middle East and the Vietnam war are wars we should not have intervened in.

Yes, sometimes war is required. It can free people from tyranny like America, but it can also cause chaos amongst people like in the Middle East.
