During Chaucer’s era, people would often go on pilgrimages to religious destinations. Nowadays, we tend to go on road trips to more secular (non-religious) destinations. What are some popular destinations for road trips? What do you think makes these places so popular? Why do people like to travel?

Some popular destinations are Disney World or to bigger family towns. The amount of people nd the amusement in the places. People like to travel to do something new or just to get more out into the world.

Some popular places are historical places or parks such as Yellowstone. People come from different places that aren’t around many things so to see different things is often fun for people.

Some popular destinations include national parks, scenic destinations, sports events, towns, etc. These places are popular because they have new things we’ve never seen or things we enjoy watching or doing. People like to travel to go to new spots with new people and new things to do.

I feel like a lot of people like taking road trips to national parks like Yellowstone. I feel like people like going to these places because they are really popular and broadcasted. It’s nice to get out and I feel like in order to not hate where your live you need to get out of there sometimes.

A couple places that are popular to travel too are Bahamas, Hawaii, Punta Cana, and California. They are all islands or places with beaches. People like to travel because it is a way to free your soul. Human beings tend to have an itch for change and escaping from your problems for a little bit always helps.

Some popular places people like to travel to are Hawaii and the Caribbean. Why we travel is because I don’t think people like to be in one place for to long it can make you claustrophobic you just have to get out see other things.

Some places that are popular are Disney Land/World, the version of this for Idaho Silverwood, Deadwood, and even New Orlance and Bannock. For many of these people go to for entertainment and fun, but others may go for adventure, pay respects, or visit these places because of mysteries and ghost stories. For all of these places have these things, while Disney Land is a great place for family vacations there are confirmed, by Disney, human bones in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride to ashes in the Haunted House by people who dumped their loved one’s ashes on the ride. Not to mention all of the voodoo that takes place in New Orlands. To even paying respect to those like Wilde Bill and Calamity Jane in Deadwood.

People travel to explore the world, be it of their country or another. To see the sites they’ve never seen before.
