I don’t know of any examples of corruption off the top of my head. I think corrupt people seek power, however power can cloud people’s judgment. It all depends on the person and the position of power.

I think some police officers are an example. I think that it’s some people are corrupt but the power they have makes it worse.

An example are the police force, some will bust people for doing wrong but have a significant other that does the same thing the bust other people for. I think it goes both ways because some will seek power and others have the power already.

North Korea would be an example with their leader Kim Jong-Un isolating their country and threatening to blow any countries that pose as a threat to them. I think it goes both ways corrupt people seek power so that they can become more powerful and power will corrupt people as it consumes them in greed.

Some corruption in the Church can be shown by the pastors or popes touch the little children and use their power to get away with it. I think these corrupt people are corrupted by power because they are aloud to get away with things.

Many governments are corrupt are corrupt and I think this is because people who are inherently corrupt seek out power. And power only further corrupt society people. It’s almost a dominoe effect of corruption.

One example I can think of is China and Hong Kong. China is trying to use its power to extradite people who speak against China in Hong Kong. I believe power corrupts people because you feel like you can get away with anything.

Some current examples of corruption today are like the media, the media in politics loves to create a wall between the left and right. As such, people become divided amongst themselves because of the narrow minds people in the media can have. People like the Clintons, the Bushes, and others like Romney can influence media to get power.
