Daily Literary Quote
“In the Middle Ages, cathendrals and convents burned like tinder; imagining a medieval story without a fire is like imagining a World War II movie in the Pacific without a fighter plane shot down in flames.”

What comes to mind when you think about the Middle Ages?  What are some stories or movies that are set during or have characters from the Medieval Era?

When I think of Middle Ages I think of mead and the video game Skyrim. Skyrim is isn’t a story or film but it’s a video game that is based around the Middle Ages. One can fight dragons, plunder villages, and drink as much mead as your coin purse can buy.

With Middle Ages, I usually imagine knight, swords and traditional armor, and war. I also tend to think of fantasy stories because they often are set in a time line where technology is more simple than modern day inventions. Some books I’ve read that are set in medieval ages would be Eragon, and a book I’m reading now called Malice is set in a medieval themed world.
