Celebrities of all kinds receive special treatment. They’re praised and loved by many people and tend to get away with a lot of crimes, though not always. For example Johnny Depp has done illegal actions but still is casted for movies.

I think that celebrities receive special treatment. Many of the things they do are not legal but they don’t get in trouble the way that a normal prson would. When rappers post videos of drugs, nothing happens to them, whereas if some normal person did that, they would most likely go to jail if the police were aware.

I agree. It seems like if you’re a celebrity you can pretty much get away with anything and people will just brush it off.

Some people obviously receive special treatment. For example celebrities, or people with a lot of money are much more respected, or even in some cases, revered, so they can get away with things that normal people wouldn’t.

Most celebrities tend to be narcissistic and think they can get away with anything.

Minorities always seem to receive special treatment. If you’re of a certain decent or certain skin color then you are treated differently by most people. Sometimes people of either gender receive special treatment

Gender is usually only a problem in Holden’s class.

I believe that many people are treated with "special treatment". Many people and social groups still face some sort of oppression in our country. The rich and famous get more privileges for sure, and if you have something that people desire they will usually suck up to obtain it. But in the ruch's defense they usually worked enough to get their position and wealth.

Hard work isn’t the only thing that got rich people where they are today. They were presented opportunity after opportunity to give themselves a step up.

The president and anyone else in congress recieves "special treatment." I say this because they are treated as higher class. Also, the usually have security and protection around them at all times.

Many people in our society receive special treatment. The special treatment of some people is justified, but the special treatment others is simply given because they are associated with the right people and that seems unfair to me.

There are people that definitely do receive special treatment. Celebrities definitely do. I think that if you have a lot of money then you receive special treatment.

I believe that people think they should receive more special treatment more than they actually do. For instance, a lot, not all, of the LGBTQ people think that they are more entitled than others. Even after getting gay marriage laws passed, they want more from society.

I understand that to an extent. Although it doesn’t matter if you are gay or straight there are ALWAYS going to be people who don’t accept you and don’t give you the same treatment as others.

Kiana Farnworth
2/11/2019 10:12:36 am

Agreed, just because they have the right to marriage doesn’t mean they are treated by the majority with the respect they are due, their rights are infringed upon all the time simply because they love who they do.

People who are well known get special treatment for example when I first moved here I got dress coded for a skirt but girls who have always lived here can wear belly shirts and not have to change. Another example would be between my little sister who’s Hispanic getting in trouble and having to leave school for doing the same thing her class mate was doing.

Kiana Farnworth

I completely agree, the same thing happened to me when I moved here last year, I was dress coded for shorts that were longer than most of the other girls shorts. It’s unfair that the length of time you’re known to a person should determine the harshness of punishment if punished at all.

I get where you are coming from with the dress code, so many people dress so trashy and don’t get in trouble but if a person they don’t know or don’t like dresses that way they get in trouble.
