Quotes are a way of connecting to phrases or words. They can help you feel understood and give you new perspectives on different situations whether it be from a movie, a book, or a random person. What quote would you say you find valuable to you and why would you say it's important to you?

A quote that I really like and can relate to is "sometimes all I want to do is head west on 20 in a car I can't afford with a plan I don't have...just me, my music and the road." I like this quote because sometimes all I wanna do is just go for random drives with no destination, listening to my favorite music and taking a break from all my responsibilities and worries.

The quote I'd say that stuck with me, even though quite common, "Belive in yourself! Even if no one does! :)" I got this one night from working, a lady handed me a tip, and this folded piece of paper while smiling at me and soon left. Once I got home and read it, it made me think that people are a lot kinder than others usually put off. It was an off day, and ever since I've gotten this note, I do think of the same lady, and be glad I got it.

I love it when we witness little acts of kindness. Seeing kind actions online is one thing, but to have it happen to you in person is entirely another. In a world so focused on all the horrible negatives, it's extremely refreshing to hear a kind comment or to see a kind deed be done. In a way it's like "resorting your faith in humanity". I also love how that one lady's note still sticks with you today, really showing how impactful being kind can be.

This truly shows that a quote can mean nothing until given in a certain circumstance. This quote is one you might see on a wall in a classroom and just think to yourself “oh cool” and move on but in the way that the quote was delivered as well as the timing makes it mean and worth so much more. This applies to really any message too, MLKs I have a dream speech, while still relevant in today’s world, would not carry the same weight it did as when it was originally given.

You know, impostor syndrome is a thing, and people do not believe in themselves. Sometimes, one goes so far as to tell themselves they have not earned the opportunities they have.

Quotes can mean a lot to people and barely anything to others. To me I think that it is very important to have a quote that we can either base our life or day on. For me, my most important quote is by Elanor Roosevelt, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." This is very important to me because my dreams are big and small, whether its catching the biggest fish in Idaho or have a family in another state. Each one has its own uniqueness to it big or small. No matter what someone says or thinks it will always have a sense of beauty to me.

I like how you mentioned that goals both big and small are very valuable. Setting up certain achievements for oneself will both improve the individual's well-being and help society advance. I think that goals and goals setting should be a higher priority for everyone, especially in teenage years while our brains are developing. If we can learn a new skill before adulthood, then we would become better set off for the rest of our future.

It's great that you mention that the opinions of others won't affect your dreams. I feel like that's what gets a lot of people down, is being judged by our own dreams. Everyone's dreams are vastly different and oriented towards what we see valuable. Another point of having that quote to always think of everyday. If everyone had at least one goal to achieve before leaving out to be on their own, would help the confidence of so many.

A quote that I often remember is, "A man who dares to waste on hour of time has not discovered the value of life" (Charles Darwin). This quote comes up to me when I'm wasting time on technology or other unimportant things. While there's defiantly a lot of guilt the resonates with this quote, there is also a hopeful desire to go and do something so that life may become more valuable. This quote is also serves as a warning. If we waste too much of our life, we will watch it fly by without any feeling of accomplishment or pride. If I could go back to my 11 year old self, I would have never of gotten a phone. But now that I have been with one for so long, I feel reliant on it. And the truth is that our society is completely reliant on technology. So as much as I would like to get rid of my device and find more value in my life, it almost seems that I'm, and many other people, are in a way stuck in a techological time trap.

I think people don't realize how much time can add up. If we were given the chance to watch our lives as a movie before we die, most of it will probably be us connected to our phones. The amount of progress just one hour can be to a person is great-like learning new hobbies or doing a homework assignment. I like how you express how much technology has changed how you live, I don't see much people agreeing on that sometimes.

This quote speaks well of my weaknesses in that I am an expert at procrastination. I can take a small task or piece of homework and find so many other things I’d rather be doing but in doing those other things, usually small and semi pointless like doomscrolling or going on what I call an avoidance run, when I could have just sat down and finished the task. Then with the task finished I could go do something actually fun like a longer bike ride or climbing a mountain. So to speak of a man who wastes an hour does not know the value of life truly highlights the long lasting effects of my procrastination.

This quote shows so much seriousness. I say this because people often take their life's for granted and waste their days or even their whole life's. When I look at this quote it makes me get very motivated to get up and do the things that I have always wanted to do but just never want to do them. And if you think about it, 80 years is not long at all. So we might as well live these 80 years the best we can before we become just a memory to people.

The quote I think of whenever I am asked to think of a quote is a quote about good writing from the one and only Mrs Braswell. The quote reads “good writing is like a mini skirt, short enough to be interesting but long enough to cover all the parts.” The instant after she said this everyone just laughed at the comparison but as I thought into it more I realized how well it worked. It also thoroughly improved my writing as in its memorability I thought about it every time I was writing after that day . My writing before was long and uninteresting, filled with fluff, but through this I am able to remind myself to focus on what I’m trying to say and just say it. Get the point across with no extra length that covers the information (interesting parts) up.

I love this quote. It has helped me with my writing as well. I now train myself to write sort enough to not bore my audience, but long enough to cover everything that is required.

I love Mark Twain's quotes. There is one quote that has stuck with me since I learned of it: "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt." I always try to remind myself that even though I might be a big fish in my pond, there are sharks out there, and when I am in a meeting with sharks, they probably know their subject extensively. I try not to talk aout things that I know not, since these people would see that I am making p what I say, and that's bad.

This quote is very important to me as well. I say this because wether or not we speak our opinion at least one person is going to find it doubtful. So by not opening our mouths we remain hidden in a sense on where we don't have to deal with any extra doubt.
