Does a society need strict schedules to function, or does that merely disguise control? Explain.

Life does need a schedule but it should not be strictly enforced with your life on the line. Some days we are just late. :D

I think they need semi-strict schedules but not to such an extent that people start wanting to rebel. They should have a lot of freedom but can't not have laws.

Yes and no because we still need a schedule or else nobody would do anything, but it also doesn't have to be super strict. We still have to give people some room to mess up once in a while to learn from their mistakes. If we did have a strict schedule people would only do things because they have to which would make everything less enjoyable and sad all the time.

no,I think you just need more self control and be able to be accountable with showing up non time.

I think that society needs strict rules, to function. I think this is because otherwise people will do things they shouldn't. I also think that it helps keep everyone in order.

No i don't think they need strict rules, I think its good to have some rules to keep everyone safe and secure. I think it is obvious that society needs rules.

There should be a somewhat strict schedule for smooth running operations but when there are too many rules or too much of a structure to the point that there is punishment or consequences that is just disguising it as power.

Nah it doesn't need a strict schedule as long as there is some sort of schedule and a motive people will do their job the people just want total control and the inability for others to protest.

Strict schedules are just a form of control because society can function as normal with a loose schedule and sense of time. Not everyone needs to be exactly on time for society to work as intended.

There should be basic when you need to be places and when you need to leave but not at all strict schedules to function.

A society does need a strict schedule to keep all of its systems running smoothly. A schedule brings people together to make important things happen, and allows people to have access to many important resources. Without a strict schedule, a society will run sloppily and will be unorganized, but a schedule that governs the people will eventually reduce life to monotony.

I don't think a society needs strict schedules to function. I think strict schedules may help but many people want their own control over themselves. Strict societies can disguise and take away the community's self control.

I think society needs a little bit of order but I do not think anyone needs full control of anyone other than themselves.

I think that they need to have a semi-strict schedule because people need to have some leniency for the people to do what they want to do

I believe that a society needs some schedules but people should not get punished for being late. If you were to have time taken off of your life for each time you were late then they are controling.

It hides dictatorship because you always have to go with time and everybody else and not at your own pace.

Schedules are mandatory, or there would be chaos for pretty much anything, and being late has its own consequences, depending on what you are late for, and it should be managed by you what you do and when.

I don't think its necessary, not strict schedules but more laid back is okay. I think its control undisguised.
