New Year's Resolutions (Cayden)

12/13/2022

Next week will be the start of Christmas break, and during that time the New year will have already passed before we come back to school. Traditionally, at the start of the year, people make a list of what they want to improve about themselves or their lifestyle. What's on your list for the upcoming year? Something in particular you want to do or improve on?

I usually don’t set many goals at the beginning of the year because most of the time if I do it, I forget about them very quickly. I guess on of my goals for the upcoming year is to do good on the rest of senior project and just enjoy them rest is senior year.

I do not usually have New Year’s resolution either, but I believe in setting goals and that is pretty much the same. I think it’s healthy to set smart achievable goals at any time of the year, so maybe New Years is the perfect time to do it.

Luckily senior project is done 20 days into 2023! I like how you set short and long term goals!

Although I do not typically do New Year’s resolutions, this year I want to focus on being successful and happy. Finishing off senior year will be a large change for all of us, and I want to be comfortable in moving forward with my life. I want to end high school with a degree and start a new chapter in my life. Ultimately, I want to become comfortable in this change and successful in starting a new life for myself.

I agree and I like the goals that you have set for the upcoming year. It will defiantly be different when we graduate but it will be a good change.

I love that happiness is one of your goals! It is so easy to forget to focus on self happiness but such an important aspect in success on other areas of life!

When picking a new year’s resolution i usually end up doing something that is achievable in a short period of time. However, this year looking into the BIG changes happening in my life, my resolution is to enjoy the small moments especially with my family and to stay focused on my goals.

I like that you are focusing more on short term goals and things that are important in your life. Family is a big one for me as well and it always makes things better when time is set aside to spend time with them.
