Favorite Memories (Jada)

As seniors, we all begin to look back in where it all began. The first day of kindergarten or preschool. As we get closer to graduation and adulthood, it is important to look back and reminisce on childhood memories. I feel that our childhoods shape the adults that we are becoming. What is your favorite childhood memory?

*Note from Mr. Pace: Don't forget to respond to two classmates, in addition to the prompt itself.

My favorite childhood memory was when I used to live on the bar hill. Our street was on a hill, and the side was dirt, not pavement. We owned a tricycle with plastic wheels. I would get on the tricycle, ride down the hill as fast as I can, and at terminal velocity, I would yank to the right, and drift at the bottom of the hill. I felt like the coolest kid in the world.

I used to do this all the time on my road with my younger brother!

Yeah me too! I somehow ended up doing something crazy with my siblings, especially my younger brother.

This sounds like so much fun! I also loved riding bikes as a kid.

One of my favorite childhood memories was riding around on four wheelers up in the mountains. At my old house, there were trails that would take us everywhere. One of my favorite rides was called the loop because it would eventually take us back to my house.

I love that your favorite childhood memory is in the mountains! I feel like we valued outside time so much more as little kids.

I used to ride my bike on a loop all the time with Jada at a campground our families went to frequently.

Me personally, I'm not much of an outdoorsy person. I'd rather stay inside and play video games. The most I go outdoors is during soccer season.

My favorite childhood memory is Wiggin out. My family used to get together annually at a ranch in Stanley and party for a weekend. It was always in October so everyone would dress up in costumes and wigs. At the end of the weekend somebody would win for best costume. There would always be really good food and music, but my favorite part of it all was seeing my cousins.

That is the best name for an annual event I have ever heard before. Did you ever win the contest? If so, with what costume?
