Christmas (Jada)

Christmas is right around the corner and for me personally my favorite part is gift giving. I love seeing all of my family open the gifts that I got for them. What is on your christmas wish list this year? What family traditions are you looking forward to celebrating during the holidays?

Some of my family traditions are going to my aunt Mary’s house every Christmas Eve for a big dinner. We always recreate the nativity with my cousins and head home to open pjs. Then on Christmas morning we get up at 1:00 am and open all of our gifts. We have always done this and is a tradition I want to keep up. Some gifts on my wish list this year are a buttercream mast class and some new books.

It’s funny how you wake up at 1:00 am to open presents, that’s typically the time I go to bed on Christmas Eve.

My family also visits others during Christmas. It's really nice celebrating with other family members. More presents too!

Some family traditions of mine are setting up a porcelain village that we add new pieces to every year, go hunting for a Christmas tree, and to participate in the Elf on the Shelf for the little kids. I don't have very much on my wishlist, but a work laptop would be nice

I never did elf on the shelf as a kid but it seems like such a fun tradition.

My grandma used to do this. She would have a mini village spread throughout her entire living room. I loved to look at it whenever I went out there. It was so Christmasy

The Christmas tradition that I am most excited for is opening up one present on Christmas eve. After dinner, right before bed my parents let Jack and I open up one present, and it is always pajamas. I love getting to open up pajamas right before bed because I’ve been doing it since I was really little. It’s something my mom did as a kid as well.
