A fairy tale usually has magical aspects, things that wouldn't happen in real life. They also have very distinguishable good/evil characters, and have some kind of moral throughout. I think they are still relevant today, because the morals involved are still lessons we can use today.

When I think of a fairy tale I usually think of a made up story that is set either in the past or the future. The characteristics of a genre are plot, setting and characters.

I see a fairytale as something fantastic and mystical with a heroic ending. They teach lessons and they’re entertaining. I think they are still relevant because we still discuss them and make them up.

I think what makes a fairy tail is when it has a happy ending. They have to have some sort of adversity throughout the show though but they always end up having a happy ending. It also has to has to relate to younger kids because that is mainly who it is for.

What makes a fairy tale is the unrealistic characters and the happy endings. I always think of talking animals and princesses when I think of fairy tales. I think they are relevant for small children.

When I think of a fairy tale I think of a charterer who had a dream and that dream becomes reality. Weather it be falling in love with a spectacular prince and princess. Or when something really fortunate happens in the plot.

Fairy tales are fairy tales because they have a certain level of magic and often take place in an unreal kingdom. Another thing about fairy tales is that traditionally, because many of our now fairy tales have changed, they were used to teach a lesson. One example of this is that the original story of red riding hood was to warn girls against rape, and teach them to be safer. Fairy tales are still relevant today because we are still learning.

A fairy tail is magical and makes you have an imagination. There is always a hero and a villian. The morals of the fairy tales are relevant in todays life.

As a general statement a fairytale is just a pure fantasy story. However, I think that fairytales also have morals imbedded into them, because of this trait, this is why they have relevance today.

A fairy tale is normally a magical thing that happens but only in a move or a story, not in real life. There are normally characters that are good and evil. The evil character normally tries to ruin the good characters life. They are relevant today because today because children normally like to watch them.

A fairy tale contains magic, such as Shrek could be considered as a fairy tale since it contains elements of magic. Fairy tales contain alongside magic, mystical creatures, with a heroic ending. You can see some elements of fairy tales in today's movies such as Luca and Onward.
