A man will do anything to impress a women. The Knights Tale represents this a lot and how with the right dedication a man can change his worth and path.
I agree with this.
Very well said.
That is very true
I think some things that were reflected were the chiveraly that comes with being a knight. Another one of the values is not giving up. That is something that is reflected in our modern society too.
The movie shows that peasants are not allowed to enter a jousting tournament which is historically correct. Although it does have some scenes and soundtracks that are incorrect, the movies shows that winning over the women is the end goal for all.
Yes of course
A fantastic comment.
The movie reflects the Middle Ages through the social status of many of the characters and the idea that knights are to be born of royal blood. It also shows many different life styles during that age and reflects many occupations. One way it respects our modern world is the people that work the hardest and don’t back down tend to have a lot more success than those who run.
This is good. I agree.
This is a very astute observation.
I agree with your statement.
Yes I agree
I agree with this.
A Knight’s Tale mainly represents the code of chilvary that was popular with knights during the Middle Ages. In a more modern sense, A Knight’s Tale tells use that with hard work and dedication, you can move up to a higher social class. It also shows the value of love, something that was important in the Middle Ages and is still important now.
Your statement of love is well thought through
Some things that were reflected were rituals and knightly behavior. Two nights were in love with the same woman and would do anything to make her fall in love.
A Knights tale reflects chivalry through the jousting tournament and how William fought to the end to protect his honor in jousting Adimar at the end of the movie. It reflects some of our modern values on respecting honor and bringing a good reputation to one’s name.
I 100% agree
The values of being a knight and being chivalrous is a middle age value and a modern one. Being nice and caring is important. Also haven’t royal blood doesn’t matter anymore. Everyone has a chance to reach the top, even though it may be more difficult for some
Yeah it is more difficult for some people
. When you are impressing a women you have to be consistent and not give up on her. That is something in modern times too. He is trying to change his paths and that was really hard even though he was really good.
the jousting for knight for women and love is the same. I think they also jousted for honor and respect too. compared to modern times it shows that if you work for what you want you can get it.
All people in the middle ages are knights. Knights are the biggest part of the middle ages. I think that jousting was a big thing in the middle ages, and sword fights between people, and that is all a knights tale was about. Just sword fighting and lots of jousting. But i think it also reflects that knights were really strong back in the middle ages. They had to be with how much fighting they did back then. I think some ways it reflects the modern time is that people love to watch matches between people, even if it isnt jousting anymore, but they like to watch and cheer on the participants, and they like to be a part of the action as well. And i feel like a lot of people when the jousting was going on felt like they were in on the action of the jousting matches.
Not everyone in the Middle Ages were knights.
The movie reflects the Middle Ages by focusing almost completely on the social classes from that time. The main character had to pretend to be someone of nobility just to be able to joust. The movie reflects modern values by adding in a woman blacksmith and allowing Jocelyn to have freedom to do what she wants.
I love your outlook.
It reflects the knight chivalrous nature of knights. It also reflect our determination to do ehat we love.
It shows how the social class differs in the middle ages. To where he was lower class so he wouldn't be able to compete. It shows that people think highly of one another not knowing their past but their views change once they find that out later.
I completely agree.
This movie shows how through the ages social status has always mattered. You weren’t allowed to do certain things in the Middle Ages as a normal person. Nowadays you just get looked at or treated differently.
This is basically saying men are stupid but they act good for women. This is still true today and not relevant in modern society.
Men really are the worst, but I guess some of them mean well.
In A Knights Tale the main character had to pretend to be someone of a higher social status just to joust. Social status and class does still greatly affect our world today. If someone thinks you’re “below” them, they’ll treat you differently than they would if they thought of you as their “equal.”
The knights take showed the chivalry that was expected in the Middle Ages and It showed courage and winning which we value in today’s society.
I agree with this
In the Middle Ages you had to be from a certain family to have a chance at being anything in life. But nowadays everyone has a shot to get to the top. You have to take all the chances that are given to you like in the movie.
The story, The knights Tale represents many of today's values. The knights tale represents that hard work pays off and that the harder one works the further up in class they will move up. In turn it also represents that relationships were valued then as well as they are valued now.
the kinghts tale shows that the end goal is impressing the women. Wanting to impress the women in hopes of winning them over. It shows that with just one choice you make it'll change the outcome. showing that the hard work pays off in the end.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
