Do you believe in ghosts or the supernatural? Why or why not? Why do you think they remain so prevalent in our stories and folklore?

I do believe that there are ghosts in our world. Mainly because so many strange things have been documented that could be ghosts. But if it is proven that those are something else I will easily except it and move on in life.

Forgot to add that I think they remain in our folklore due to them being so mysterious and what they can and can't do changes over time.

I don't think ghost are real. They are stupid. They remain in lots of stories because it is an easy and basic topic to right a story about.

I somewhat believe in ghosts but not fully because I have not personally encountered anything supernatural. I have known some people who say they have encountered something, but they did not know what it was. I am not sure why they are in our folklore today since there really is no solid evidence of supernatural.

Yes, its kinda like aliens. There is probably other life in the universe so why can't there be an afterlife. I think that humans are intrigued by things they don't understand and want to have an explanation

I don't think that ghost are real. I think beacuse once dead they are no longer a part of the world. Easy explanation to thing that people don't understand nor what to understand.

I think they're real because I used to see one walk the halls of my old house every day at the exact same time. They remain prevalent because people are always interested in the unknown

I am one of those who believe in the supernatural to an extent, maybe it is because after all I am Winchester. Jokes aside, I do think that there is something out there besides humans, I always thought my basement was haunted back at my old house in Utah, It always gave me the creeps and I had more nightmares there then anywhere else. The reason why the stories remain is because well they are awesome stories, but also because people want to explain the unexplained.

No, I do not believe in ghosts. They are in all the stories that we read as kids, which makes people believe in them. People are blindsided by these stories.

Yes I believe in it because there really is no place that they go in the afterlife. I think they are in stories so often because it adds prior or unseen knowledge to the stories that the living characters may not see or know.

A lot of people say that they have seen ghosts before, but that doesn't mean I believe in them. They could exist or not and I am on neutral ground until they are proven to be real or not. I think the unknown is what interests people and ghosts are something that is unknown to a lot of people. They will keep being in stories for who knows how long because people find them interesting.

I do believe in ghosts. You have to be a special kind of self centered to truly believe there is no outside energy or souls in the universe other than ourselves. Energy cannot be destroyed and I truly dont think our souls just stay in the dirt with our bodys when we die. Plus I watched ghost busters.
Because ghost storys are very interesting I think some are true and some are not but either way people are going to remember something that interests them. They are also going to write storys on things people will be read and be intruiged with.

When it comes to the supernatural I think I'm in between of believing and not believing it. What comes after dealth is still some what a mystery and I don't know what to think of that. I think they remain prevalent because it's something we don't have a clear answer for and that can be constidered scary.
