My dads side of the family is from Ukraine while my moms side is mostly from Italy. It’s important to know your family history because it can tell you a lot about how your family arose and came to be. Family history also connects us with individuals from around the globe that we didn’t know we were related to.

I know that my family is from Ireland Scotland and Norway. I am not sure how far back that is. I think it isn’t very important to know specifics of my heritage because I will never need to know.

My biological family is Italian. My family now I honestly don’t know but I do know my grandma Beverly did years of genealogy. She has boxes open boxes of papers to prove it too. It has to be a lot of generations back.

I am of Native American decent which goes bad a very long time. I’ve also got Swedish genetics from my dads side of the family. It is very good to know your decent and heritage so you can have pride in where you came from.

I think my family is from Sweden. We traveled over to America a couple generations ago. I also have a tiny bit of Cherokee in my family, like 1/16. I think it’s important to know your ancestry, to know where you come from and how to uphold your culture. Also when I die I want to be remembered by my family.

I only know where my grandparents are from, not any older generations. I know that my grandparents on my dads side came from Ireland and my grandma from my moms side is from Scotland, I don’t know anything else about my family. I wouldn’t say it’s important to know my ancestry since they’re all dead now and I’m from a different country than they were.

I can trace my dad’s side of the family back to the early 1600’s in England. They lived in a castle in a town that was also named after them. The Duke’s two sons left on the Mayflower to come to America. It is important to know you’re family history so you know where you come from.

I have no idea about my heritage. I got told I could have german heritage in me but I dont know for certain. Its important to know because you could find out about people you are related to that could be halfway across the country from you. Or you could be related to people that you are close to like your friends. A lot of people in this town are related to a lot of people. Like me but I dont know exactly who I am related to in this town
