Write about your favorite creepy creature. What makes them so frightening? Why do you think people are fascinated by the horrific and macabre?

I like ghosts in general but not the two year old movie ghosts, real spirits. I like them because they are the mirror of what people are afraid of, death. They are scary because they are dead people who can hurt alive people without getting hurt themselves. Ghosts create an uneasy sensation and raises goosebumps to the skin. While I argue that many spirits are kind or normal people just minding their business, many people are scared of spirits in general because of the evil, demonic spirits that haunt and harm people or places.

My favorite creepy creature are aliens. For me what makes them frightening is the fact that very few people have actually seen them in real life and the fact that we still don't know what they look like. I am a huge believer in them because I have had an instance that I have seen their spaceship! And it was actually an alien spaceship not a plane or car!

While I agree that aliens can be real, I'm defiantly not a 100% believer though, I wouldn't be very surprised if 100% proven if they were real.

I also believe that aliens are real; the possibilities that there are other life forms are infinite, since the universe is so big. I know that the pentagon has disclosed that they have seen flying vehicles doign things that they could not understand. pretty cool

My favorte creepy creatures are probaly Zombies. I HATE ZOMBIES. But I do like me a good dystopian movie. I think the big reason why I don't like zombies is because of there canabalistic way of life. Lol.

My favorite creepy creature is a mummy. I don't think that they are frightening but others might think they are scary because mummies are dead humans or animals with chemically preserved organs causing their bodies to stop decaying. This is fascinating because it is weird to think that you can preserve a dead body with just a few key elements.

The spookiest creature out there is the Windego. They usually appear up in the more moutainous areas in the world, and you can become one by resorting to caniblism. You turn into this lengthy, skinny, Cayden Logan looking thing.

Leatherface. Leatherface is from a family of cannibals and continues on by killing more people. Though he is more a human than creature he is still a creepy guy. Leatherface wears people's faces and carries around a chainsaw. He is slightly based off a real person, Ed Gein. They both wore people's faces.

My favorite creepy creature is a Wendigo. The Wendigo was said to be a lost hunter who couldn't survive the harsh winter so he turned cannibalistic. This caused him to turn into a crazy man beast who is still roaming the forest in search of more people to eat. These creatures are frightening because of their tall stature and the half human half animal look to them. People find these so fascinating because they are supposed to be somewhat related to skinwalkers. Wendigos are also in the native cultures.

My favorite creep creature would definitely be a skinwalker! The scariest thing about skinwalkers is the fact that they can take whatever form of animal they want and they are also parts of ancient cultures. I think that the reason that we like scary monsters is because they give us a reason and an outlet for fear.

My favorite creepy creature is a Skin walker. They can shape shift and imitate animals and people. They are told to be witches and someone needs to commit an awful act like committing a murder. Skin walkers must kill or they die. I have heard terrifying stories and they are neat creatures.People like the creepy horrifying stories to scare people and they may like their true meaning.

My favorite monster is wendigos.The thing about them that makes them so frightening is that they can sound like humans screaming or crying. They came to be as a myth about humans that turn to canabolism and they prey on people who are greedy. Besides all these myths we as people find anything horrific or mysterous fun. We find an escape of reality. We also use it to act on impulse's that we wouldn't do in real life.

My favorite creepy creature would have to be either Skin Walkers or Wendigos. Skin Walkers are said to be entities that live in the forest that have the ability to possess humans and animals. Wendigos are also mythical creatures that reside in the woods and are also said to have the ability to possess humans. They are able to invoke the feelings of hunger and cannibalism. I believe people are fascinated by the horrific and macabre because they can bring out emotions that are intense and ones that we aren't familiar with.

My favorite creepy creatures are skin walkers. You don' mess with 'em. I am not a fan of scary things, but I've heard some stories that sound very real, and I was paranoid for like 3 weeks. People must tell these tales as cautionary tales so that people don't get eaten by some animal.

My favorite creature would be the Jersey Devil because i don't know what to really do. The Jersey Devil is a kangaroo-like animal with a horse or goat-like head. They have bat-like wings, horns and small arms and hooves. The origin story was a mother that was having a child for the 13th time, she cursed the child causing it to come out looking like the creature the child then beat everybody with his tail and flew out the fireplace into the woods. People are probably fascinated with this story because it gives them an imagination and the mind to believe something scary or something you fear and mixing it with dark woods which everybody believes has something in them.
