A couple of years ago, I was struggling to pay for a travel club trip to Europe. I had a family friend, who I didn't know very well, help me pay for the trip, without asking any questions. This person didn't even want me to pay them back, they just wanted a couple of days of labor. It was the act of pure selflessness that made this gift so special. That someone who was almost a stranger to me was willing to do that because they could and they wanted to.

That was very nice of them to ask for a couple days of labor in return.

That is awesome to have a family friend help you out like that in return for some work days!

When my grandma past I was given a watch that she used to wear. It wasn't the one she always wore but she always wore some type of watch including that one. Every time I wear it I think of her which makes it so special to me.

One of the most meaningful gifts I have received was a stuffed animal. What made this animal special was that it was a sheep and I could tell this friend put a lot of thought into getting a special gift.

The most meaningful gift I have recieved was a hand made doll. It was made out of clothes of my cousin who passed away in an accident her and I were in. Her parents made it for me so that a had someone to talk to when I couldn't talk to anyone. It's the most meaningful because the parents were grieving and still thought of me. They were willing to share their coping with me and didn't hate me for what happend. They put there whole heart into making that doll for me.

That's such a sweet thing for them to do. When death happens, gifts certainly have a greater meaning.

The most meaningful gift I've ever received is a necklace from my mom and a necklace from my grandpa because it was a thing that both of them bought for me as a personal gift and something that I can keep forever and wear whenever I want. I feel that when you get a personal gift just to you it is a lot more meaningful than any other gift.

I agree that personal gifts definitely hold more meaning to a person. It shows that they are thought of and loved.

One of my favorite gifts I gifted to one of my friends that was in a car accident. She was driving her blue subaru crosstrek that was named Skoot. So to keep the memory of Skoot alive I gave her a mini toy blue subaru crosstrek and a license plate that had the name Skoot on it.

One of the most meaningful gifts I received, was a card from my sister when she moved away for college. The words she wrote on the card give me motivation to do my best and fight for my goals and dreams everyday. It's silly to think that a paper card would mean so much to someone but it reminds me to do my best and make her proud.

The most meaningful gift I have received are my cats simply because I like cats. When my family got our first cat we hadn't had a pet for a long time. I cherish and adore my cats because they make me happy.

The most meaningful gift I have received was my cat Calico. She is always following me around and so nice. Knows when I'm sick and sleeps with me all the time. The best gift since I love cats.

A few years ago for Christmas I was given my first drum set. It was an electric drum set my uncle had gotten me. This gift was very meaningful to me because my uncle had kept his promise, which was giving me a drum set after I turned 13.

The most meaningful gift I have ever given was to my dad, it was a maze that was very hard to solve. It took him a day to open the box, and when he opened it he found a letter that I had written. I don't want to go into too much detail but I explained to him how he does so much for me, and expects nothing.
