I think that all the examples mean that we have sort of thrown away literature. Now that we have the internet, we can get own hands on basically any information if you just type it into google search. I think that they are all saying that even though we have gone forward in time, it is like we are getting dumber as a whole society.
I agree that it shows how we have gotten rid of literature of some of it.
That’s so true, we have thrown away literature and we are kinda getting dumber as we advance in technology.
I agree. I think that we are really stuck to social media.
I agree with the last part a lot.
I can see how we are getting dumber as our technology gets smarter. Great job!
I agree, sometimes it feels like become of technology we are becoming dumber.
The similarities between the quote, picture, and screenshot is that we are obsssesed with things that aren’t necessarily important. And we can use the amazing technologies we’ve been given for more useful things.
I can see how you can get that from the illustrations and quote.
I think it means that the more advanced in technology we are the more lacking we are in things like social interaction. We are physically become less than those who came before us because we rely on technology so much.
All of that is so true
I agree. We are so glued to technology that we interact more through social media than face to face.
Your totally right, our technology nowadays isn’t necessarily essential.
It does feel like instead of going out and interacting with people in person we are resorting to texting.
People have changed so much over time. We never stay the same. We have gotten this far with technology imagine what the world will be like in 100 years. Between the three it shows how in the past people used to do different things and as time goes on people have changed. The culture of the world has changed.
Technology has played a huge roll in how we have changed over time.
And imagine what it was like to live 100 years ago. It must of been so boring
I think that it makes us look like we digressed to the point of the internet.
We revolve around technology as a culture. Our culture is all about technology the picture about evolution is basically about all of the people in the world. The similarities between them are that every person would rather use there phone that read, and we can access every thing man has know but we talk to people we don’t know and play games. They make fun of people because it’s true.
I like your point that we revolve around technology.
I agree that we revolve around technology. Nowadays, most societies depend on technology to live.
I agree when you say we are depended on technology.
They all say that we take for granted how much we have to access when we are young. They also hint that we kinda digressed and we are worse of then without it. I think we are not worse off but we do take it for granted. Another thing we need to be not dependent on the device we have.
I agree it does seem that they are telling us we take advantage of the things we have now.
That’s true we have digressed over time, even to the point we wouldn’t be able to live without technology. And we do take all these things for granted.
I can see how it is like we are taking it for granted.
I think the quote, with the context of the other pictures, means that we don’t read as much as people in the past (before technology), which changed our culture. The screenshot talks about how different we are now than people in the 1950s. The picture shows the evolution of mankind and their tools. All of these make us think about how technology affected our lives and culture. They also imply that our society has devolved from books and into memes.
Our culture today is changing everyday based on what each individual is learning and contributing to our society each and everyday. The quote, the screenshot, and the photo are all evidence of how our society is changing and how we all are learning new information wether it’s useful or not everyday. Even though they all make us realize that technology changed us for the good or bad the comparison to our society now and the past societies are really different.
The illustration shows the advancements of technology and how once our technology used to be essential, now it consists of things such as computers and cell phones. If someone from the 1950’s came to this world today, they definitely would be shocked and have a hard time adapting socially.
That’s true I bet someone from the 1950’s would be really shocked and think that we achieved something huge.
We are part of Generation Z, while we can access and use technology with prowess, we are also devolving and relying too heavily on what we have now. We use it for unimportant reasons and abuse it for our amusement. To explain it to someone from the past would be quite the task.
The intelligence and wisdom available to us is amazing. Are we really abusing this intelligence? In some areas yes, but there is also so much we are learning and lots of things technology is doing for society.
They all bring up the use of technology, we seem to hav become more and more dependent on it, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing though.
I think that this quote means that since we are trying to get rid of books and literature. We are losing our culture and inteligence. The pictures implys that we are going back on our evolutionary cycle.
You make an interesting point about going back on our evolutionary cycle. What is the next step in that evolutionary cycle based on a scientific point of view.
The quote, picture, and screenshot all relate to the same idea. This idea is that books have a big impact on our intelligence and where humans are today. Having technology isn’t a bad thing but stories teach us about the past and lead us into thoughts that we wouldn’t heaven conceived on our own. However, the world is ever-changing and so human society has to change with it.
