We had way too much food, and while most of my family were finishing off my second plate, I could barely finish my first...as delicious as it might’ve been.
This year we didn’t have a lot of family over so we had way to much food, but we will have leftovers for quite some time.
I felt that way too, I got too full way too fast. Good thing we had leftovers.
We had some great pies for dessert. My oldest brother came to visit and we had a lot of fun playing games and planning our Christmas vacation. We also decorated for Christmas the day after thanksgiving.
What kind of pies did you have.
My brother came over too, and I would have to say the cheesecake I made was my favorite dessert
That’s nice that your older brother came to visit.
Pies are pretty lit.
I enjoyed playing games this weekend too.
The food, family, food, and food were greatest part of Thanksgiving. We also when to the gym at the church and all my family played. We also got our Christmas tree which was pretty cool.
I also got my Christmas Tree it was probably better that yours was.
My main highlight of thanksgiving is the fact that I got to eat a lot of food and watch football on Thursday. I also got to hang out with my friends most of the weekend. I had basketball practice on Wednesday and Friday which I always have fun with.
Football is pretty nice.
Honestly, playing poker and winning money from my entire family is definitely a highlight. Also, stuffing myself with pound and after pound of turkey and pie didn’t hurt. I have never seen nine pies disappear so fast.
I love poker.
What kind of pies did you eat?
Food is always good and turkey followed by pie is pretty much a recipe for greatness. Nine pies is a lot of pies. How many people did it take to finish those?
The highlights of my weekend were going hunting and not having to see any of my family. I went hunting everysing day this weekend and only had thanksgiving dinner with my mom and dad so that was pretty great. I didn’t have to deal with relatives that I may or may not like. I sadly didn’t get anything hunting but it was still fun. I got to go hike around in places I’ve never been before.
Sounds like it was fun!
Seem like a nice quiet weekend. I love being out in the woods even if the animals don’t show up.
For Thanksgiving I went to South Dakota and had a family reunion. It was great to see all of my family because most of them live in the Midwest and so we don’t visit them much. Also we got to see Mt. Rushmore and the unfinished Crazy Horse Monument. Oh, and I ate a ton of food. That’s one of the best parts about Thanksgiving.
South Dakota is one of my favorite places to visit!
I never understood the beauty of Mount Rushmore....
I’ve been to the Dakotas before it was really hot and windy
This weekend I had a fever and my family and I couldn’t go to Colorado to visit my brother. So instead I had Thanksgiving with my other brother and his family. I didn’t really have an eventful weekend besides spending time with family here and getting sick.
I’m sorry you got sick, at least you still got to spend time with family.
That’s so sad. It must be terrible to not feel well when your on vacation.
This Thanksgiving went exceptionally well. To start it off, barely any of my family was here, and even though I missed them, it made everything less stressful. I also adopted my new puppy, Archie. Overall we basically just watched football and ate a lot of food. This holiday always makes me realize how truly lucky and blessed I really am.
I bet your puppy is fun to have around. My uncle brought his dog over with his family, and I enjoyed seeing his dog and ours playing together over the holiday.
One of the best highlights of this weekend is I got lots of sleep. Another is that my birthday was on Sunday, so this weekend was #blessed. I also hung out with Quincey a lot that was good too.
Same here I got a lot of sleep this weekend.
Some of the highlights of my thanksgiving weekend were seeing all of my family and eating lots of good food. I’m really glad my family was able to come together and celebrate thanksgiving this year.
I also enjoyed seeing my family altogether and eating lots of food with them.
The highlights of my Thanksgiving weekend were having friends and family over to eat. Another one was when our dogs came home from playing in the mud because only there eyes were visible under an inch of mud. It was so funny, except I had to wash the dogs so that was bad.
That sounds like it was a lot of fun
My uncle’s family came to visit for Thanksgiving, and he has a two and a half year old son. My sister and I got to play with him, and it was fun to hear him speak in his cute toddler dialect. I also ate a lot of food, which was nice.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
