I think that Iago will be burned at the stake. They will think he was a witch after he was so smart.
I agree they will think he is insane and try to catch and kill him,
I agree, people will think he is a harm to others and then hunt him down.
I agree. I don't think they believe that somebody that is as intelligent as Iago really exists.
I think Iago will be on the run for the rest of his life. eventually he will become a hermit. I don't think they will catch him because he is so smart.
A smart hermit. Maybe he will plot revenge on Cassio.
That is and interesting conclusion!
This seems like a very possible outcome for Iago.
A hermit Iago would be good.
I grew that Iago could be smart enough to escape. That would be really interesting to read about. I think eventually he would die dork grief or just get tired of being on the run.
*die of grief
Great point on how he would outsmart his capters. I don't know if would be a hermit though since he's pretty darn smart.
Iago will definitely be on the run for sure. I hope he lives in pain the rest of his life. He deserves it.
I think that Iago will be kept as a prisoner until death. I say this because that way he has to live with the guilt and fault that he was the one who killed everybody in a sense.
You're right that he will have to live with the guilt. I think that is almost as bad as physical torture. He would start to realize what terrible thing he did.
I agree with you that he should stay in prison and feel guilty about what he did.
I think he will end up escaping, only to be caught later on. He will slip up eventually...
Everybody messes up, he will probably mess up like he did before, eventually.
That's a very good theory. I didn't think about that but everybody does mess up eventually.
That would be good either way i think he'll die.
Yeah, I'd hope he'd slip up eventually.
I feel like Iago ran away and found a nice beach to relax on and as he was having a good time. But do to his wounds he forgot about it and died of infection. But he died a happy relaxed man. And that's all that matters.
He was so happy he forgot that he was bleeding to death. That's sounds funny.
Those kind of endings make people mad, but life isn't fair. Especially in Shakespeare.
Way to create your own beautiful ending😂
I think Iago will escape somewhere far away and die rich and alone. He'll be smart enough to get away and get money, but no one will love him. That will be his punishment.
I agree I don't think anyone could love Iago and he would have to die alone.
I think that that's a worse punishment than dying
I think Iago will be put in prison and tortured and pay the price for what he did. When he's not being tortured he will have to live with his guilt for the rest of his life
And he'll have to reflect on his choices.
Good point on how he would live with the guilt and would be tortured.
I think that Iago will be kept alive and totured for the rest of his life. They'll try to get him to talk and admit that he's guilty. Eventually I could see them putting him in prison, but he should be punished for many years.
I agree. He definitely deserves to be punished for many years.
I feel it will be fair if he was tourchered for the rest of his life
I feel like Iago will be thrown in jail for all his dirty deeds but he will think of some devious plan to get out and he will be on the run from everything.
I agree that if iago was put in prison he would find a way out.
He's smart enough to escape, it could definitely be possible. He seems like the type of villain who could pull something like that off.
I think If Iago could run away then he would. If he did run away then he would be always running and hiding. If he couldn't get away then he would be put in prison and die alone.
I agree that Iago would never get a break
I agree that if he was caught he would be out in jail for the rest of his life
I think he's going to be hung. I think this because he was responsible for so many deaths so he should have to die as well.
An eye for an eye as they say.
But as Othello said ,"To die is to be happy." He won't have to live with his guilt.
I think he will be killed or kept as a prisoner unril he dies.
I feel like Iago will die of his wounds in prison. I think this because the story of Othello was set in sometime during the 1600's. In the 1600's, the medical practices weren't the best so, he would die of infection. It would be a awful and painful death. Also, I don't think that the people who captured him would kill him, but there is a possibility.
That is probably what would realistically happen. He'd die pretty quickly from those wounds.
I really really despise Iago, but at the same time I think he's very intelligent. He screws up so so many people's lives and it really just messes with my vibes. But he did almost pull it all off, if only Rodrigo could've killed Cassio.
I think iago will runaway from cryprus and move to Verona where Juliet will fall in love with him and theyll murder Paris together and run off. Romeo won't be in the picture, he'll still be heartsick over Rosaline.
I love your idea about him escaping and getting together with Juliet
Iago will probably have to be punished by doing all of the work around the castle and they will see if he is doing better and if he still wants to deceive everyone then he will be put to death.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
