I was walking to school and saw an injured squirrel and then I went to help it and it bit me and I got rabies shots. I now know the cutest of animals are dangerous. And rabie shots hurt.
I did not know that rabies shots hurt. I won't help squirrels ever again.
At least you learned to not help squirrels anymore
I hope I never have too get rabies shots
Thank you for letting me know not to pick up rabid squirrels 😂😂
This summer I rode a bus to Oregon for band camp. It maked me feel more like an adult as I was on my own.
Those kind of trips are alway fun! You can learn that you can dot hints on your own.
Trips like that are fun but hard... I remember my first one was a little hard at nights even though I had a blast during the day. But the roommates I had didn't really help with the situation and I was a little young.
About 2 years ago me and my dad were feeding the 300 plus head of cows that we had on our ranch and we had to go about 3 miles up iron creek and we were getting hay and a giant bobcat killed a newborn calf and my dad shot it so from that point on I always have a pistol with me when I go to feed the cows.
I won't go after bobcats without a pistol now.
Good idea. It's also a good idea to take a pistol when you're up in the mountains in case something attacks.
When I went to the animal shelter to get another bunny after a hawk took Bun Bun away. It made me realize that you have to be thankful for the things you have
I almost know how you feel, a hawk got my cat. So I threw a rock and knocked out the hawk and my cat landed on a abandoned bed.
I agree, it makes you appreciate the things that you have while you have them.
I agree with we need to be thankful for things we have.
Yeah I think we take advantage to often for what we have
When I went to Malaysia last year, it definitely opened my eyes to the different environment and lifestyles of others. I learned that there are people in a lot worse situations and I learned that I should be grateful l for what I have and also I learned that even though you just meet people, you can get to know them and learn to love them in only a few days.
I agree that we should be more grateful for what we have. It's crazy to see what others don't have and what we take advantage of.
That sounds like a really cool trip! It is amazing how much we take for granted.
My dad would take me for runs since I was really young to the river and back. This started my addiction for running. This definitely changed be because it effected my activities.
That would be a fun run! And it still affects you today!
One time a few years ago my family went on a road trip to the Oregon coast and then down through the redwoods. I went to an event at a campground one evening where they were telling the history of Sasquatch. That changed me because now I believe in big foot. 👣
Do you still believe in big foot or did it go away?
Well I think that he/she was real at one point of time but probably not anymore.
Big foot is real, just saying.
I can believe how the redwoods could be an awesome experience. And nice, Bigfoot. 😄
When I was in eighth grade, I went to the Virgin Islands for my cousins wedding. It was a very different culture there. They had to get their water from rainwater, when the power went out the whole island would be out and it would take days for it to turn back on, the food is lower quality, I'm sure there weren't any dentists,or they were really expensive because most people were missing half of their teeth, or they'd be completely messed up. This changed me because I realized how luck and privileged I am. My family has enough money to pay for anything we need. I realized that I take many things for granted.
I remember that. A lot of them probably didn't really care that much though because that was the only way they had ever lived.
Wow. That seems like it would be pretty cool to go there!
I like how you said how lucky and privileged you are after realizing these things.
I went on a road trip with my mom, step dad, and some other people to Virginia. It was three days and we had to sleep in the van and eat ham sandwiches. I know now I can't survive my mom in a trapped vehicle for that long 😂 and I do not like sandwiches anymore.
The fact that you hate sandwiches now kinda cracks me up. 😂
I have moved lots of times and each time was a LONG family road trip basically. Each time I met new people and made new friends and also kept in touch with friends in the past places I lived.
I like what you said about how you always kept in touch with hold friends.
I'm sorry for you that you he to move so many times, but at least you ended up here right? 😉
I think it would be hard to move a lot and put a new experience on road trips because I've never moved so I wouldn't know
**you had to
That is cool that you still talk to you old friend.
One time when my family and I went on a road trip to Canada like 2 years ago, my sister was being a brat and she wouldn't share the shotgun seat. I just said "whatever" and sat in the very back (then I got carsick). I realized that she is just too stubborn to be reasoned with.
I like how you'd didn't argue and just kind of excepted the fact that she was to stubborn😂
This summer, I traveled to Europe and experienced a culture so very different then ours. For example, our bathrooms are different normally from the European bathrooms. It changed how I viewed our culture.. Also, I discovered my love for traveling. Lastly, it made be realize how big this world really is.
I know how that feels. They would have been so cool to experience Europe!
It's neat how you learned about all the different cultures and that you realized how big the world is.
I agree! It definitely broadens your horizons and makes you think.
The time I traveled to Fort Stevens in Oregon. The first time I saw an ocean. I was amazed with the vast expanse of blue and the salty air. I realized that I forever love the ocean and the heavy mist of Oregon. The fresh air, campgrounds all covered in green, and the thunder of the waves.
I like how you said that you saw it once and now you can never go back
I also remember the first time I saw the ocean. It is pretty amazing!!
I went to Airazona with my family one time and it was a very long drive. I wanted to kill them but I also realized how grateful I was for them and we got to stop at some pretty cool places and I wouldn't want to experience it with anyone else.
I love how you said that you were going to kill them but then you realized how grateful you are for your family
When we were heading to state cross country last year, I learned that I am very slow at figuring out mind games. It took me at least an hour and a half to figure out what can go through the green grass door. We also played black magic and I still can't figure that one out.
Ya it took you forever to figure it out😂
A couple years ago we went on this long family trip and we went across the top of the United States. On this very long road trip I really found out how much I love them and being with my family. Driving and exploring are literally my favorite things. I was fortunate enough as a child to go on long road trips a lot and it's made my siblings and I a lot closer... whether it was getting run out by a sand storm or throwing jelly fish at each other. We are close because of the 100s of hours we've spent together.
I like how you said that long road trips makes you closer to family members. I totally agree with that.
A road trip that changed me was when we went to Seattle Washington with the band and choir a few years ago. I learned everyone on the trip was different then what I had expected, like their personality and their humor that they had was something I wouldn't have expected.
When I was young Brooke and I were walking in my back yard and we found a bunch of baby rabbits. We took all four baby rabbits home and convinced my mom to let us keep them and we named them all. A few days later three of them had died and we decided to let the last one (who's name was Theodore because he was fat which is probably why he lived but that's okay) go. I learned that even when you are trying to do what is best you should just leave animals where you find them.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
