Mad Scientist Type Stuff (Nic)

Hey guys, sorry for the delay. I thought I would do a fun one that's not too serious unless one makes it that way. Basically, what I want to know is if the science was possible and you could create a new animal or make a hybrid version of multiple creatures, what would you make? What would it look like? What is it called?  For me, this time around, I think my creature will be a mix of a Bat and a goliath frog. It would look like a big frog with leathery wings. It would have two clawed fingers on its arms and feet that would help in hanging from things as well as sticky mucus to help it climb other surfaces. It would use its powerful legs to propel itself into the air then catch itself with its wings. It would also have big ears to use echolocation, however instead of a squeak it would ribbit at high frequencies to hunt bugs to shoot its long tongue to catch. It would nest in dark moist caverns and caves near water sources because its winging also would work kinda like fins to help it be stable as it propels through water. It would be the terror of the skies and the water. I would call it the wing(ED) Jumbo Frat. But yeah, what would your guy's creations be?

My creature would be a combination of a dog (a labrador or water dog) and koi fish. The Koig would have the lifespan of the koi fish along with added fins, gills and slightly webbed feet to a normal lab structure. This would enhance the creature’s swimming speed and ability to stay in water longer (my dog Remi would never leave the water if she had the choice). I also chose the koi because they are known for their long lifespan, thus allowing the Koig to be a lifelong companion for their families. It would also have a blend of waterproof fur and scales to add a blend of adaptations to suit a more water based environment and lifestyle.

I love that creature idea! I think it would be my new favorite animal if Koig did exist!

That's a fantastic idea of a creature, especially how you really put thought about the animals in your life too.

I would make a sloth with the speed of a cheetah because I think it would be interesting to see sloths move quickly. Because they are herbivores, they would only need to be able to move fast to avoid predators.

This would be an intriguing sight, since we have only known the slow pace of a sloth. What habitat do you think it would inhabit?

That would be really cool! I can see how it would also benefit the life of cheetah mixed with a sloth

That is so smart! They would be unstoppable.

I think I would pick a creature that’s a hybrid of deer and human where they both share same characteristics. If you have ever seen Sweet Tooth on Netflix the idea came from there. Maybe I would name it Deerling.

This would be super cool and even allow humans to better adapt to the environment.

This is such a cool idea. I didn't even think of human/animal conversion.

I would combine a platypus and a giant squid. Since the platypus is already a crazy combination and now being a part of a giant squid it will give it more size and appendages to get around and grab things. I believe this thing would become a new apex predator and demolish both land animals and aquatic animals.

That would be really scary but I'm into it. Would it need to spend more time in the water since 3/4 of the animal is aquatic? I think your creature would be an Apex predator in a certain environment uess there's sharks or whales around.

I would make an entirely new family of organisms. They wouldn't be animals or plants, but little globs which live in the woods that can change their appearance to blend in perfectly with their environment. They are incredibly shy, and freeze up whenever an animal might spot them. They can appear as mushrooms or as leaves, or as a patch of moss or bark. They get their energy from other living things. Not as a parasite, but in a symbiotic relationship. Through some scientific process too advanced for our understanding so it seems like magic, they provide healing properties to all that they are around, and it yields life energy for them. This way, whenever one goes out into nature, their health would literally improve.

I like this idea. It reminds me of Lord of the Rings and the living forests. I feel like it would be super cool to have such pretty creatures with healing properties. Would people eat them or would this disturb nature since they are shapeshifters?

This is literally such a cool idea. It reminds me of DnD or some magical world, and believe me we could use some magic in this world. I love the woods and think this idea really mirrors things I love.

I would cross a lion with a swan so that it has wings. I just think it woulr be majestic and remind people of Narnia. It would also be pretty sick for a country to use the creature as part of its crest or flag. I think on a deeper level the creature could represent political movements for humans.

If I were to create a hybrid animal I would chose a capybara and a dragon. The body would be the same as the capybara but with dragon wings and could breath fire. I think that would be such a cool creation and this combination would help them with predators from other animals and people.

I would make a platypus mixed with a parrot. A platypus is already a peculiar creature so I thought, why not make it more weird. I think it would be cool if it could fly.
