Last week of school!!! It's crazy to think but this weekend we graduate high school and move on with our adult lives. The day we never thought would come or come soon enough is finally here. So I have two questions for everyone and they are more reflective questions; What was something you have learned from your last year of high school ? And, If you could go back and tell your freshman self some advice, what would it be?

Something Iearn from this year was really making the most of everything and also being responsible and accountable for my actions with senior project. Of course with it being the last year of high school, every activity and event was even more special and had to be made to the best ability. I had some great time with friends and made some great memories from high school. With senior project, it was not an easy task. But what I loved and learned from it was the outcome was entirely up to me. How much I put into it would either make me pass or fail. It's some great quality to take into adulthood. As for what I would tell my freshman self, I would tell her not to worry. That everything would work out for its reasons and to just enjoy it, even the hard times, because in the end you're going to take more of the good than bad with you.

This past year of high school has had a large impact on the way I have matured. I have had to deal with a lot of different aspects that will prepare me for adulthood, and I am thankful for it. If I could tell my younger self anything, I would make it known that life’s experiences are what we make them. I was very shy and introverted the majority of high school, however, I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and it allowed me to enhance my overall confidence.

I feel like I went through the same thing this year. I used to be so scared to have attention drawn on me, when I made connections this year and expanded my social life which overall boosted my confidence.

This year, I learned how many paths our lives can take after high school. We can do so many things in this huge world, and our options aren’t as limited as they seem. If I could give my freshman self some advice, I would tell myself to keep an open eye when it comes to my future, and remember what good things lie ahead for my future.

I agree with your advice for your younger self. I feel like it is so stressed towards young kids that they need to have a plan, but in reality our life choices are going to change so much in those four years. It’s just added stress.

I feel the same about myself, when I was younger I thought that there were no options, but looking through my current perspective I am aware of the plethora of opportunities there are.

Seeing as Im typically the one who always have an opposite opinion I think it's time for me to be cynical once again. I didn't really learn anything this year, mostly that I can do barely anything and still get decent results which I fully took advantage of. Though if I had to tell my younger self something it would be to not be so mean all the time. Even though it's very fun to be rude it hasn't always had good results. And I think sometimes I could've been nicer but just chose not too.

Why do you think you found it easier to be rude to people? Personally, it is the opposite for me. I sometimes struggle being mean to someone even if it is in a situation that I need to be more honest about.

Over the past four years I have been very school oriented, which has brought me a lot of benefits. However, looking back I would have placed aside more time to my friends because they create memories that last and will be supportive during hard times. Another thing that I would say to younger me is to care less about what others thought about me, often I would overthink and it would hold me back from my potential.
